"Haha, funny," Victoire grinned at Rose's handy work, snatching a silver mask that matched with her shoes. She took a tentative smell and realized that Rose had been right about the shampoo smell. Giggling, she placed her mask securely onto her face and turned to look into the mirror. Gorgeous, as per usual. "Shall we go?" She turned back to Rose, her hands on her hips and a determined expression on her face. |
OOC: for the sake of giving him some sort of face, Al is going to look like a slightly younger Jared Leto, minus the guy-liner, and add green eyes. I have NO idea who to use for Al... Al paced the empty comon room, waiting for his cousins. He wasn't walking down there along, after all. If they were getting caught, it was going to be together. He continually ran his hands through his hair, a nervous habit. He looked at his watch repeatedly. If they didn't hurry it up, they were going to be late. Kyle and Matt made their way to the great hall. Kyle looked around, not seeing his date anywhere yet. Either she wasn't going to show, or she was already ther waiting for him. He walked up to the enterence, and was greeted by a house elf with a scroll of partchment. "Kyle Tuck." He said lazily. The Elf looked over the parchment and dtepped aside, letting him in. Matt had told Victorie he was goig to wait outside for her. Not wanting to break his promise to such a pretty girl, he leaned against the wall, waiting. Kyle had gone in without him, but that was just fine. He gazed mindlessly up the hall, waiting for his date to arive. |

Once Jay had dressed into a classic black suit He carried his mask and made his way to the Great hall for the party. Scorpius dressed quickly then realized he had no idea what sort of mask to wear he thought it over for a few minutes then decided on a simple Gold phantom Mask that covered 3/4th of his face. Once reached the great hall he glanced around for Meg or Aly if he was lucky they hadn’t glamoured themselves yet. |
Victoire, Rose, and Al quickly made their way down the grand staircase to the entrance hall. From the top of the last flight of stairs, Victoire saw a lone figure leaning against the wall. He seemed to be waiting for someone. Was that Matt? Turning to her cousins and releasing her arm from Rose's, she spoke with a wry smile, "See you both inside, yeah?" And with that, she waved a quick goodbye as she made her way down the stairs, her hand on the stairrail to keep her balance as she walked in her high heels. Victoire made her way towards the figure, realizing it was Matt simply because of the stance and the hair. "You don't look too shabby," She spoke through her mask teasingly, examining his clothes and elegant, Phantom of the Opera look. |
Matt laughed softly, looking the girl up and down. "I can clean up pretty good, when I actually try." He said with a flirty smile. "You don't look half bad yourself." Matt offered her his arm. "Shall we go?" He asked. He hated to admit it, because of who she was, but Victorie looked even more stunning then normal. That was probably the veela in her. But even so, he found himself drawn to her even more so then he had been in previous years. Don't even think about it. She's a Gryffindor, and a stuck up one at that. Do not get involved. He told himself silently. Not that it helped. Al nodded and followed Rose towards the entrence. He glance back over his shoulder at his cousin and that Tuck twin. The one he didn't like. "I hope Victorie knows what she's getting herself into." He said quietly to Rose. "I've heard some things about him, that I'm not entirely sure are true, but wouldn't shock me in the least if they were. And none of them were the kind of thing Uncle Bill and Aunt Fleur would like to hear." He pouted a little, and turned his eyes away, and instead, searching the inside of the ballroom. He wasn't sure, but he thought he spotted Aly. He sighed. "I still don't know why I agreed to come to this stupid thing. I mean, look at everyone we've seen so far. Very classy, high fashion kind of people. And then look at me. I'm wearing bloody jeans!" He sighed again and jammed his hands in his pockets. |

Victoire smiled softly, her flattered smile her form of thanks. Linking her arm in his, she answered his inquiry: "We shall." They made their way across the Great Hall and she noticed Al giving them quite a dirty look. Victoire was pretty sure who the look was directed towards. She knew that Al wasn't quite happy with the situation, but then again, did he know who Rose was going with? She swept the unhappy thought aside aside just as they reached the ballroom. "So," She began, "Who's your brother going with again?" Maybe tonight, Rose and Kyle would lose their partners and come together for a dance. Just maybe. |

Parker coughed a little, and decided to speak in an Irish accent, "I've looked and nothing has quite looked so good as to what is now before me." Parker smiled widely, it was weird, but at the same time natural. He wasn't one used to smiling. Parker stopped looking in her eyes for a moment, and looked as people seemed to fill the room. "As for the party it's rather nice." |
Quote:
She then looked him over. "And this?" she asked looking down at his 'costume.' "Is that natural as well or one of those charms that are in play tonight?" |
Quote:
"I think yer teasing me?" Parker said with a smirk as he looked down at his abs. "I'm not one to really play aroun' with spells. Am happy jus' the way I am. Want ter feel?" But, he didn't ask as he placed her hand on his abs. "Is that real enough fer ya?" "And yerself? You got any charms? Other than the natural charm I seem to be seein' righ' now?" |
He looked around the best he could but didn't see either girl right off that was his luck they were already here and it looked like he was going in blind. He shrugged it off who knew maybe this could be a bit of fun besides he was free to mingle all he wanted if Meg wasn't sure what he looked like. Jay stood infront of them mirror and watched as his features Changed from his usual clean cut shot dark blonde style to a slightly longer brown first then the rest of his features morphed. |

Meg smirked. Charming, her? Well, of course. She did learn to smooth talk growing up. ""I do. But I'm afraid I can't give that away just yet." She then winked. "You just get a peek at what you called my 'charming' personality for now. And it seems like you have a bit of one yourself." she said picking up a glass of punch for herself. |
Quote:
"I don' know about callin' it charm miss," Parker laughed. "It's all about luck. It's an Irish thing. And us Irish are also known for our dancin'...I don't suppose you'd want to go for a jog around the dance floor with me?" |
Al watched as his normally jet black hair changed to a silvery blonde, with a large blue piece on either side of his head. in the mirror. "Very cool." He laughed, walking inside with Rose. There was still no sign of Aly as far as he saw. But there was a very pretty girl in a red and white dress, standing alone. But would he dare go talk to her, no. He looked down at Rose again, who was still beside him. "Who are you here with, anyway. You never told me after." Kyle sighed. Great. His date hadn't shown up. He'd told her the time, and place to meet, and of course, she didn't show up. Go figure. Story of his life. Find a pretty girl, ask her on a date, and either get shot down, or stood up. He wasn't sure at this point in time which was worse. He adjusted his hat on his head, and made his way over to the punch bowl, where a very shirtless guy, probably Jay, was talking to a girl in a blue dress. "Evening." He said with a nod, pouring himself a glass of punch. Matt shrugged. "To be honest, I don't really know. He said something about a girl named Abby, but I dont think he's seen her since the train ride here." He said looking around the hall. "What about your cousins, Rose and Albus?" He'd seen them walking down together, all in costume. |

"And I'd love a 'jog.' Assuming that means dancing of course. I'm not sure I'd look very graceful taking an actual jog." she said with a smile. She took his hand not waiting for an invitation. This mystery 'Irish' guy was lucky indeed. He had caught the attentions of Megan Isley. Soon another guy joined them. "Good evening to you too." she said with politeness. She wasn't sure if the feeling behind it was as polite as the tone that came out of her mouth. Maybe it was? This night was perfect so far. What wasn't to love? "Scorpius." Rose said quickly walking away from Albus so that he didn't have the chance to ask any more questions. She looked around. There was a girl by herself at a table. There were two guys and a girl by the refreshments. And there was no one dancing yet. She walked confidently out to the center of the dance floor. Now was her time to really let loose and have fun. (After tonight she'd most likely be in trouble for ever.) She loosened her now dark hair so some of her curls were bouncing on her shoulders. She smiled and secured her hairbrush mask on her face before bouncing and tapping her shoes to the beat. She probably looked like an idiot. And any other day she'd care. But tonight she wasn't Rose. Tonight she was fun-loving and outgoing. |

"Yes, nice evening indeed," he agreed in continuing his Irish accent. "I hope you don' mind lad, but we're off for a wee dance, please excuse us." He continued to make his way to the dancefloor, lightly taking Megan by the hand. |
Selena made her way down from Ravenclaw Tower, hoping she didn't get caught. She hadn't really bothered with all those glamour spells that she guessed all the other girls would be using. She'd straightened her hair and put it up, but that's it. Afixing her mask to her face, she walked down to the party. Giving her name at the front, she then walked in. Everyone looked so pretty. Looking around, she headed for a bowl of punch, and got herself a cup. While drinking, she looked around, not really sure she wanted to just go and talk to anyone. |

Once they reached the dance floor she wrapped her arms around his neck. She took advantage of this moment to take in his strong shoulders. He said he didn't use any spells. That should mean she should recognize him, right? She carefully began studying his features. She ran the guest list through her head as she did this. She was determined to find this out. |
"No, not at all." Kyle said to the 'irish' guy. They didn't have many irishmen here, and he'd been running the list of them in his head, when his eyes fell on a lone figure on the floor. Shaking his head with a soft smile, he finished off his drink and headed towards her. Behind the mask, and under the hat, he was vurtually unrecognizable. His long, blonde hair was tied back with the ends of the classic Zorro bandana style mask, the only thing that would have given him away, lest he start singing along with the music. Walking up to her, he flashed a quick, charming smile. The one thing he and Matt did identically. "Care for a partner?" He said, watching her. The way her body moved to the music was... What was the word... He didn't know. He held out a hand for her to take, should she chose to. Al sighed as Rose walked away. Wait, what had she said??! Malfoy!? Good lord, her father would have a fit! He shook the thought and headed for the punch bowl. There was another girl there. Uncertian of who she was, he smiled gently as he poured hiself a drink. He wouldn't speak, unless she did first. That was his menthod, and normally it didn't work. Not like he minded. His mother had always told him not to waste time chacing girls all over school, and to save that for the years between school and working. He took a sip from his drink, watching hesitantly as some Zorro wannabe walked up to Rose, apparently asking her to dance with him, as apposed to alone. |

Kyle laughed lightly, letting his hands gently rest on her hips. "Perhapse it is." He said, looking down at her. He pulled her in a little closer as the song changed to a slower song. Great, it was one he actually knew, for a change. Meg never played good music at these things. But this song was up there on his list of favourites. It was an older song called Broken by a muggle band Seether, featuring Amy Lee. He smiled gently down at the girl as they turned in a slow circle. |
Jay wasn't custom to being alone at events such as this and to be honest he didn't fancy it now. He spotted a girl near the punch table. He made his way over. " Evening he said casually. as he fixed himself a cup of punch. |
