Default Dark Hogwarts

Hogwarts has been overunned by deatheaters, dementors, and many other creatures that can help the deatheaters. They have come to claim a so called Book of Havern. A book with a spell to raise the dead. They plan on taking the book, and using it to ressurect Voldemort from his ashes. They have captured the hogwarts teachers, groundskeeper, and the headmaster. They have also locked all the students in the great hall, which is under maximum security.

A group of students is working on a plan to stop the deatheaters, get the teachers, and recover the book so it won't get into the wrong hands. Will they recover the book, and save hogwarts from Lord Voldemort's return? Or will the deatheater's take over, and Voldemort finally take over the school?

Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

Alec paced the room over and over trying to find a way out of this mess. How could it have happened? How did they allow Voldemort and his little minions to so easily take over? It didn't make any sense. Their must have been a way out. He looked to the giant door knowing that he would never be able to use it as an escape unless something was done about the goons on the otherside of the door. With a sigh of frustration he looked down at his wand. His fingers curved around it more firmly and the muscles in his arm flexed. He couldn't just do nothing.

He turned to everyone else in the room. They must have felt the same way. "We have to do something about this before it's too late." Well obviously.

This was bad, no it was worst than bad. In a moment of distraction they had allowed the Dark Lord to sneak in and take over. Justine thought of the children, locked away in another room. The first years especially must have been terrified. Then her mind went to her babies out at the stables. They must have been in just as much fright. She hoped they were okay; she didn't know what she would have done if the Dark Lord or any of his men hurt them.

She sunk to the floor. It wasn't like her to give up but the door was pretty heavily guarded. It all just seemed hopeless...

Dementors circled the Great Halls doors making sure that no one got in or out. Then they saw there master coming with goblins following him carrying chests. The dementors moved out of the way for they knew what was in the chests.

Alec saw the other Alec pacing back and forth. Then he listened to him speak. "You know it would be almost impossible to escape with dementors guarding the door. Some of us don't even know are patronus yet, and they can't succesfully master it just like that." He replied.

Voldemort signaled for the dementrs to move aside. He pulled out his wand, and by just pointing at the door it slowly he opened. Once he entered the room he said "Ahh yes. Some of you will be my students once I take over the school, and use it for my own dark purposes." He gave a sinister laugh after that. The goblins moved to the side of him, and the chests down, and moved behind him again. "For those of you older students you know what in here, so good look to anyone trying to escape." After he said that he left followed by the goblins.

Professor Gregorio sat at his desk, weighing his options. He couldn't call for help because the the Deatheater might hear him, and he couldn't signal an owl because the door was locked. He couldn't escape out of the windows either thanks to the dementors and goblins outside. He could break open the door with a hex, but he had no idea how skilled the Deatheater outside was, and besides, age wise, that deatheater wasn't even born when the professor got married. He hated to admit it, but he couldn't move like he used to, and the old man really didn't want to take any chances. Not with the students lives at stake. He looked around his classroom as his shoulders drooped with a depressing realization. He was stuck. His wife and kids where at home waiting for him, and he probably wouldn't come back tonight.

Michael Holmes was bored. He absoloutely hated having to guard people- after all, they could hardly get out from a door locked by the means he had chosen.

He smirked as he thought of the old man on the other side. He would be absoloutely hopeless against Holmes, who was one of the most respected Death Eaters in the wizarding world.

Why not? He thought, and with the smirk still playing on his lips, he turned and opened the door, slipping into the classroom. He shut the door again swiftly, muttering the curses to lock it again. "Hello, old man." Said Michael in his low, taunting voice, his wand in his back pocket.

Professor Violet-Saint Clair looked around her in a faint panic. The young claustrophobic French woman had stopped counting the seconds she had been trapped in the classroom for, and began to search for something useful. She was in the Potions classroom- the Dungeon, which did not help her claustrophobia one bit.

She wasn't particularly good at Potions when she went to Hogwarts, or Beauxbatons for that matter. She could feel her heart palpitating, and she tried to calm herself down.

Hopelessly, she ran to the door and started banging on it furiously. She then paused, went to the aisles of glass pots- holding different ingredients and antidotes. She shoved them to the ground one-by-one, making plenty of noise. She tried to hop to avoid the flying shards of glass, though she felt one lodge in her ankle. She winced, but kept going, hoping somebody would let her out.

Welcome Witch | Blue Galactic Hand Slytherin Graduate

Nearly frozen in place, with her knees curled to her chest; the gryffendor, Juliana took some deep breaths. They were going to be fine, everything would work out in the end like it always did, right?
What could they do, they were mostly young students, and the few older students would be outnumbered. The professers would find their way out soon, and the ministry would be notified and the kids would all get blasted out. Everyone would be secure at last.

Mallory patroalled the great hall, amoung the dark creatures guarding it. Nouthing would attack her, because she was responsible for making sure the students were under: maximum security. Now that the itty bitty kiddies were all secure; she continued roaming the area some more. She considered setting up some detection spells, so if anyone thought they were clever and tried to escape; they'd get caught.
She turned the next corner only to hear a smash comming from one of the captives behind the door "Idiot"she muttered.

Hatshepsut Meskhenet Isis was certainly not amused by this. She paced the Great Hall, her expression extremely haughty. How dare these people lock her up?! Her grandmother would be furious at this treatment! Hatshepsut allowed herself a moment of amusement as she pictured the lecture Grandmother would give these Death Eaters for keeping her little goddess captive.
"Don't worry, Nanu Selk," she purred in Arabic to her little Egyptian Mau kitten, who was wrapped around her neck like a scarf. "I won't let them hurt you." Nanu Selk mewed, rubbing her head against Hatshepsut's cheek. Hatshepsut smiled, stroking her cat's head. This creature was one of the few things she truly loved.

Hatshepsut rolled her eyes as a Slytherin seventh-year - Alec, wasn't it? She really had no time for names - pointed out the obvious. "What can we do?" she asked pointedly, reverting back to English to speak to her fellow student. "They have us surrounded and locked up. I personally don't want to be subject to the Cruciatus Curse, thank you very much."

Alec thoug of a way how they could escape. He thought and thought and thought until it hit him. It was so obvious, yet it wasn't going to be easy. Not easy one bit. "Guys I have an idea. Since I'm he oldest out of us, I'll try to hold off the deatheater guarding us, while you guys find the Professor and get them out." He whispered to everyone by him, so then the deatheater couldn't hear him.

Gregorio stood up as he saw the Deatheater slip into his classroom.

"What are you doing here?" The old man asked. His right hand hovered near the pocket where his wand was placed. If the guard was going to mess with him, he'd play along if only to distract the man from his next attack. He didn't want the attack on himself, but he really didn't want it on the students, who he hoped where okay.

"Aren't you supposed to be guarding?" Gregorio asked, smirking right back. "Came in here just to see me?" The old man walked in front of the desk. "I'd be flattered if we where on different terms." Gregorio still kept his hand on his wand, not ready to back down. He was going to fight for his life, which he realized might be ending soon.

"I thought you might like a bit of company. Plus, I wanted to check in case you'd dropped dead yet." He smirked, eyeing the old man. Guarding? Guarding you? It's like guarding a dead sheep. And might I add the resemblance is highly unnerving."

He brushed past Gregorio smoothly, throwing a couple of curses over his shoulder to secure the door was locked. He sat down at the large mahogany desk, narrowing his eyes. He picked up a large book. "You teach History of Magic, eh?" He flicked through it lazily, and tossed it into the furnace behind him. "Never much liked history... Except perhaps Ancient Civilisations. Particularly the Greeks. Great race, weren't they? Look at Diogenes, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle... The Thinkers." He looked up at Gregorio from under his long lashes. "I remember you teaching me about them." He was sure that old Gregorio wouldn't remember the former Slytherin. He had changed in the eleven years that had passed since he last stepped foot in Hogwarts.

He moved to the other side of the desk and found a photo frame, containing a photograph of Gregorio, and presumably his family. "Nice little flock of birds you've got there." He said, picking it up, eyeing the old man's wife and children. "I'll make sure to pay them a visit. He breathed, bending his knee and smashing the frame on it.

Gregorio was starting to lose whatever reserve he had. His blueish gray eyes flashed with anger.

"If you ever go near my family, I will find you and I will hex you so bad you won't know your left from your right." He raised his right eyebrow as if questioning if the Deatheater believed him. His fingers seemed to dance in the air, as if itching to grab his wand, but his reserve came back quickly and he stopped himself.

"And you're not doing a very good guarding job. You're sitting here talking to me. I bet if Voldemort found out he wouldn't be very happy." The old man spoke with complete seriousness, trying to make the Deatheater back down. "Sad too. You had so much potential when you where here. Shame it was wasted." He paused after potential, studying his opponents face. Clicking his tongue he sat on the edge of his desk calmly, as if he wasn't possibly going to die.

Michael didn't bother to suppress his teasing laugh. "Oh will you now? And who is to say you'll still be around to stop me?" He watched as the man moved his hand about, and he rolled his eyes boredly. "Oh don't stop. Keep dancing. Amuse me."

And was that the old lump trying to taunt him? Please. "And who's going to tell him? You? From in here? I'd like to see you try. He smirked, twiddling his wand in his hand like a baton.

Potential? For some reason, Gregorio's words caused Michael to falter slightly in his baton twiddling, but he quickly picked up the pace again. "You're cocky for a dead man."

Gregorio laughed. He wouldn't normally do this but seeing as he was soon to be a "dead man" he smirked at the Deatheater.

"I still remember when you where in this classroom." Gregorio boomed. He stood up and walked from behind his desk, seemingly guided through row after row of desks, till he came into the exact middle of the room. When he reached the seat his old student sat as,he clasped his hands round the chair and smiled.

"You're so different now." Gregorio said, looking directly at his enemy. "When you where at Hogwarts you couldn't fight your way out of a wet paper bag. I still remember the time you had to go to the hospital wing because a simple spell backfired. Made your face red for a week!" And with that, the History of Magic Professor let out a booming laugh. He continued walking, stuffing his hands inside of his cloak so that the Deatheater couldn't see that his hands where starting to shake.

"It's really no wonder that you like the thinkers." Gregorio continued his long speech. "You where always more of one yourself. Always a thinker, but you never backed your ideas up. I'll even admit, since I'm probably not going to make it out of this room, that they where good too." Now Gregorio was headed straight towards his enemy.

"If you're going to kill me, then that's fine, I was set to retire soon anyway. But as soon as you so much as look at my students funny I'll hex you into next week. Don't think I'm lying either. I saw more hexes in my life than Hogwarts can teach a person." His voice was now gruff, and completely serious. He wasn't joking anymore.

The cruel memories lodged in Michael's mind for a moment, but he was now an expert at pushing them away. He glared at Gregorio, wanting to kill him now more than ever. But he didn't. Not yet. Michael was too vain to kill without a fight.

And it was true. Michael was always a thoughtful person. The problem being what his thoughts included. Killing, maiming, seducing. He enjoyed all three.

He didn't even blink as Gregorio moved towards him. He breathed heavily through his nostrils, unmoved by his words. "Oh really?" Said Michael, suddenly gripping his wand and pointing it at Gregorio. "Confringo!"

Gregorio barely had time to jump out of the way, crashing into a table when he did and rolling off, a sharp pain jolting his left leg as he hit the floor. The spell Micheal casted hit a table and said table exploded, the professor curling up to cover his body from the damage.

Knowing what the student was going to do next, he tried to find his wand, which was in his hand a few seconds after he saw Micheal draw his wand, and had been knocked out of his hand as the professor hit the floor. His glasses where sprawled out somewhere else, and he had no idea where they could be either. He felt along the cold surface of the floor, feeling something sharp strike his hand. Bringing it closer to his eyes, he saw he cut them on glass. A piece of his glasses probably. Gregorio sighed. This was going to be an unfair fight, and the odds of him beating his old student where not good.

"I would've expected as much from a wizard like you!" Gregorio yelled, his hands feeling the floor for a wand. "Is that all you got?"

I personally don't want to be subject to the Cruciatus Curse, thank you very much."
Just what he needed, a whiny pessimist. He turned to look at a girl he had known only vaguely; a few glances in a the hall, the occasional hi and bye though her name slipped him at the moment. Not like it matter. If she continued with her negativity then he was going to throw her out so she could try her luck with the deatheaters. Maybe they would appreciate her outlook on life more because to him it was just annoying. "Are you done pointing out the obvious now?" he questioned patiently. Granted he had done the same earlier but he didn't need anyone repeating his mistake. "If so then we can start working on a plan."

He whispered to everyone by him, so then the deatheater couldn't hear him.
And that was not it. He turned to the other boy that had spoken. It was hard to believe they shared a name when they were nothing a like--just listen to the rubbish he had just suggested. Alec shook his head. This whole pretending to have patience thing was starting to annoy him. Time for a different approach. "Have you lost your mind? Do you think it will take more than two seconds for them to cast the killing curse on you then turn to us while we somehow try to escape? Are you trying to get us killed?" he was not going to die, not here and not under these circumstances.

Hatshepsut rolled her eyes again at Alec's impertinence. While the other Alec had annoyed her himself, this one was pushing her buttons even more. "I'm sorry - Alan, wasn't it?" A trick she'd learnt from Grandmother: pretend not to know the person's name to make them smaller than you. "But maybe you should consider this suggestion before writing it off. It could actually work, with a little refinement."

She turned and scanned the room for people that could help. Her eyes alighted on a Slytherin seventh-year who was curled up in the corner. Perfect.
"Hey!" she called at the girl. "You! Black hair, Slytherin!" What was her name?! She was in Hatshepsut's Care of Magical Creatures class ... "Julia!" Something like that. Hatshepsut beckoned to the girl and then turned back to the others. "We can't attack them - they'll fight back harder. What we need is for an innocent to create a diversion, preferably with a first-year. Has anyone got any of those Weasley sweets? Puking Pastilles, Fever Fudge, something of the like?" She of course didn't have vulgar things like those.

"No I'm not crazy. I bet that was a better idea then you would come up with Slytherin!" He stated screaming at the Slytherin. "If you think you're so clever, then why don't you come up with a plan." He smirked at the Slytherin, who seemed to know a better plan. "How about the rest of you? Do you guys agree." He said looking at the rest of the students by him.

Alec rolled his eyes. She didn't even know his name. How typical. She was never a very bright one so he couldn't very well blame her for her ignorance; he just wished she would have been more discreet with her ignorance. Looking over at her he nearly sighed but knew that wouldn't have done anything to help the situation. He raised his hand in resignation to her. Dissuading idiots was not his job, staying alive was. "You know, you're right, I shouldn't try to stop you guys. Hey if you want to get killed be my guest, there's the door." He said, gesturing to the locked exit.

This one clearly wasn't worth his time either. If he was stupid enough to think that his idea was not only brave but ingenious then he deserved to go. One less of them would have made the escape easier. He smirked at that thought. There would be one less of them to try saving, that should have made his work more easy. He watched him turn to the others to see if they would be pulled in by his little attempt to get them all killed. That was obviously what it was! "I was just thinking we approach this from a more intellectual level. Instead of letting one idiot go out to find the deatheaters in the hopes of saving everyone else why don't we bring them to us and pick them off one by one?"

Hatshepsut raised her eyebrows at (SLYTHERIN) Alec as he write off both the ideas put forth then basically suggested what she had. Typical.

"My dear pompous Pygmy Puff," she said haughtily, bringing herself up to her full height and staring down her nose at him. "You are the most impertinent person I have ever had the misfortune to meet, and I sincerely hope that after all this is over I never have to suffer the displeasure of being in your presence ever again. Now shut up until you can say something productive."

She waved her wand, making a 3D, slightly transparent model of the Hogwarts castle appear out of thin air. A tricky little piece of magic she'd learnt from her pre-Wizarding University extension course. "Here we are," she said, tapping the Great Hall building with her wand. It zoomed in to reveal the room inside, where little figures of the students were standing around. "Now we just have to find where the Death Eaters are. We have to take them down one at a time, nearest first. Silence is key, we don't want to alert the others as we're taking down one."

Imogene could describe her feelings in one word. Bored. Yes, a word that five year olds used described all her feelings up to that moment. Well not all. She was currently steaming in a mix of frustration, boredom and resilience. What was the word for that? Annoyed? Imogene wanted almost nothing in the world more now than to go into the room, make this fun guarding thing fun, talk with someone, anything rather than to stand alone and guard a door. But she needed to stay. She couldn't afford to get on Voldemort's bad side, ever. The twenty year old sniffed as she thought of the circumstances, finding herself running her fingers through her hair that she dyed black, looking for any inconsistencies that could give her away. So far it looked good, but she was going to dye it again tonight to be sure.

Sighing to herself, she charmed the door open, slipping into the classroom and charming the door closed after she stepped inside. No one ever wondered where she was, and even if they did, she could guard better closer to the person right? At least that would be her story.

Out of no where hee was a crack of lightning. As fast as it came it it left. After the lightning the sound of a mountain troll came thumping downthe hallway. You could be able to tll it was a mountain troll because the sound of a club being dragged followed.

Alec looked at Hatshepsut when she said for both of the Alec's to shut up. He rolled his eyes when she made a 3D model of Hogwarts. Great I'm stuck with both an over egotistic Slytherin, and a show off. What's next deatheater with the means to torture instead of direct killing?! "I'm litening So let's find the closest deatheater. Which I found." He said nudging his head towards the deatheater circling the room. "Woah!" He stated when the lightning hit. Then he heard the sund of a mountain troll. "Looks like we to also deal witha mountain troll."

Hatshepsut sighed. She had been talking to the Slytherin Alec, the one that was making most of the trouble, but the other one seemed to have taken offence as well. Could they not distinguish between themselves?!
"Alright," she said through gritted teeth, pointing between them. "You are officially called Anderson," she pointed to Slytherin Alec. "And you are Ramson," referring to the other one. "It's either that or we just don't talk to either of you." There. Now life would be so much easier.

Well, it might have been. If the mountain troll hadn't made an appearance, out of lightning no less. That was just suspicious, in Hatshepsut's opinion. But this was not the time to dwell on how the troll had come to be in the Hall.
"Anderson, go to its left," she ordered, pointing. "Ramson, go to its right. Don't approach it yet, keep your distance." Younger students were staring at the troll with wide eyes, frozen in fear. "Move back," called Hatshepsut, pushing one terrified group of first-year Hufflepuffs in the direction of the wall. Her voice was calm so she wouldn't startle the troll. They didn't need it stampeding. "Don't go into corners, just keep away from the troll."
She turned back to the beast, sizing it up. Fully grown male swinging a vicious-looking club. "We'll try Incarcerous, I don't think Stupefy will work on an animal that large," she called to the Alecs, her voice still calm. "I suppose they're like giants, their skin will protect them from some spells." She raised her wand, taking aim at the troll. "On the count of three!"

While Nate was heading to the troll's right he saw one of his fellow seventh year Hufflepuff friends. He bent down next to him and said "Order all the students to back up to the far wall, and to stay out of the corner. We got the mountain troll and deatheater. Also tell it to the students quietly we don't wan to disturb the mountain troll." After he said that he got back up as well as his friend, who started to go around to the groups and backed the up to the wall silently. Then he gave Alec a thumbs up. Alec nodded once.

Then Alec got out his wand, and had it at the ready. He stayed to the troll's right, but at a safe distance. He followed it back and forth staying to his right. He then turned his head, and lifted his index finger for the first count, and said silently "One."

Things couldn't get any worse. Justine looked around the room for a moment. It was quiet in the room..but everywhere sounded just as quiet. She was beginning to think that something terrible had happened but she quickly pushed that thought away and decided that only positive thoughts would do her any good. For all she knew they had managed to over power the deatheaters and had run them out of the castle...that would have explained the silence...

Suddenly she heard the door opened. She scowled when she saw that it was only another one of those wretched deatheaters. Her hand instinctively ran to her wand. She wasn't going to take just anything without giving out a bit herself and she certainly wasn't going to sit back and let a deatheater have the satisfaction of taunting her without there being any consequences.

This was getting really annoying. Not only was the girl stupid but she was also a know-it-all; one of his least favourite types of people. How did he even get stuck with them. Couldn't the deatheaters have put him in a different room? With a sigh he reluctantly turned to look at the 3D image she had conjured up but not without grimacing. He didn't like being ordered around, especially not by some girl.

His eyes followed her various pointings and he listened to her until the other guy--Alec, right, mentioned something about a mountain troll. Great. Just what they needed in all the disorganization.

He saw one first year standing ad staring at the troll even after Ramson and Hatshepsut told everyone to move back. He rolled his eyes then gave the kid a firm nudge. "Weren't you listening? Get out of the way." It was a struggle to not raise his voice but frightening the troll wouldn't have done them any good. When the kid ran off to join the rest he turned his attention to the troll again and heard the girl give some directions. He decided now was not the time to be arguing so he gave himself enough distance between himself and the troll.

Ramson said one so he figured he'd continue the count. "Two..."
