Almost immediately after the auction, Giselle had introduced herself as "Gigi" to the man that she had bid on herself in the male auction and they had exchanged contact details to organise their date at a later time. The New Year celebrations were hectic for all, and so they had agreed on something in the second week of January to meet in central London.
Characters:
Giselle Delphineaux - Shanners
Maccario Castella - Sarcasticstrawberry
Giselle did not usually get nervous about these sort of things, but typically she only went on dates with people that she had known for a while or that knew someone she did. Since her divorce, she had been on a few proper dates but nothing had come from it. Not that she was expecting anything from any of them, of course. Gigi was completely beyond over throwing herself into anything serious, as the last time that had happened it had resulted in twelve years of marriage, upset and lack of love. Huh. As per her personality, Gigi had arrived almost twenty minutes early and waited by the entrance gates for Hyde Park and tugged her coat closer to her.
She wouldn't admit that she had came straight from work and had gotten changed in the bathroom before heading out. | |

It had been a while since Mac had done this dating thing, He had done it all for charity of course. He honestly wasn't expecting anyone to bid on him. Since she-who-shall-not-be-named left with the kids, Mac buried himself in his work and that was about all he did lately. It was nice to get out on the town now with his auction date. He had no expectations of this date. Which he was at that point with whoever he was dating. Gigi seem nice enough, maybe this would give him the push he had been needing, third time is the charm, right?
He arrived looking for Gigi, once he found her he moved over to her. She looked nice, he thought. "Hello Gigi." He said crackling a small smile. |

Knowing she had been extremely early, Gigi resisted her heavy urge to look down at the watch on her left wrist. It wasn't that she expected her date not to show, but more so that she didn't know anything about him that hadn't been said at the auction. To sell him. So, clearly, the best points about him. The things that would draw women to him. Women like her. Attending the auction had really been a dare from her brothers, but she didn't regret it, nor would she admit to it being a dare. This was just a date, right? Just a little evening in London between two adults. Not a problem.
And there was her name. And her date. Face brightening immediately, Giselle returned the smile. "I daren't say you've changed in the two weeks since I last saw you." A quick quip, and she leaned in to hug.
Was this a hug situation? A hand shake situation?
DATING WAS SO HARD.
