| | |  Write a Potter poem; win a bookshelf!
AbeBooks.com does a lot of expensive book sales - used, out-of-print, rare, you get the picture. Well, they came up with an new idea and got Jim Rosenau, an American "book sculptor" to create the one-of-a-kind bookshelf from hardcover versions of JK Rowling's books. This will be the first time in history that the novels have been turned into a piece of art.
The bookshelf itself will be given to the person who can write the best 'Potter Poetry.' The poem can take any form, including limerick, haiku, love poem, elegy or sonnet.
The best entries will be published on the site in it's Harry Potter section, and the winner will receive the shelf - which is not only art, but it works, too - before the release of Deathly Hallows.
The contest will close on July 6th. You can enter up to three times, but if you're under 18 you need to have your parent's consent.
