Sounds like a Disney thing to me! They place only a certain one at a time so that they can make more money. They must not be doing very good with them being out all the time. Must buy some and place in safe keeping in case something happens to the ones I have now. |
It's actually a marketing ploy by the studio (and a clever one, too). The movies will then be re-released in a special boxed set when OotP is released on DVD. |

You will always be able to find the HP movies in stores if not online. I bet when the other movies come out on DVD they'll put the others back on the shelves. |

luckily i have all the films already but its unfortunate for new fans who may just discover the series at a later date, even a year from now and will be unable to buy the dvd's. this may even increase piracy, if people want films and they cant buy them from the shops then they are likely to buy pirated copies or illegal downloads. |
That's an interesting sales tactic. Basic supply and demand theory, and it's MEAN! Now I'm gonna have to forget those shoes I wanted and buy those DVDs! Woot! Shannon news! |

i think they're only doing this to put them in the vault or what not, like they did Lion King, so when they come out again, it's more expensive and they're collectors editions after that, they do it to like the most popular things, altho why didnt' LotR happen to it then? lol.... but ya it's just a money and publicity thing if they come back for like a month at a time for a while it'll be a specialty or what not |
