| | | Waylett: Yule Ball scene has best set yet Jamie Waylett aka Crabbe in the Potter films has updated his blog mentioning filming for ' Goblet of Fire' and his mock GCSE's. Quote:
At the studio, we have all been having dance lessons for the Yule ball, which we will be filming very soon.
The set for the ball is fantastic, probably the best set in all the four films, even if I was allowed to tell you what it looked like, I would not be able to describe how good it really looks!
Quote:
Sorry I haven't posted for a while as I have been studying for my "mock GCSE" exams next week.
Quote:
Mum asked me what I wanted for Christmas this year, I told her I wanted some time in a "real" recording studio, she agreed, but I may not be able to go before February or March because of the filming schedule.

Oh I know...it's just that not many people ballroom dance (none that I've met, anyway), so I'm interested to see which cast members can actually pull it off. Quote:

Yeah I know...I'd have been happier if Emma Watson weren't so pretty, but she's an ok actor...

LMAO. But when you think about it, what kind of 14 year old kids go to a dance and does the Waltz? Quote:

Yes, Emma Watson is very pretty. So when she gets all dressed up no one will be talking about how she looks a lot better then she did before. They have them self's a too pretty Hermione.
They should have gotten an ugly actress. Well, not an ugly one, but average. I think that if Hermione tried, she would be very pretty. Just like we saw at the Yule Ball.

What on earth are you all going on about! I imagine that Emma will amaze us all with how she looks at the Ball, as even the most beautiful celebrities, look even better when they are 'dolled up'!
I get the impression from the book that the ball has a mix of classical and modern music so they will probably do both kinds of dancing.

Alfie Enoch, like I said, posh school boy hahahaha. No public schools do teach dance and alot of kids do take dance classes which include all genres.
I don't think modern will feature, we haven't heard about any sort of pareparation for that only waltz, tango and foxtrot.

i think it will be nice to watch them classically dance the night away - not that Harry or Ron actually dance in the books......

*sigh* Lucky kids. I would love to learn ballroom dancing. So far, all I know is a very simplified waltz. My husband and I need a lot more practice before we try to do it in public; we're still too stiff and mechanical, instead of smooth and graceful.
