Voting for the 2009 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice awards is now open online. We told you in February that the Harry Potter series is nominated in the Favourite Book category. The event will be telecast live on March 28th (8-9:30 p.m. ET/PT). The Potter novels face competition from; Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do It Yourself Book and the Twilight series. To vote go here. Votes can also be cast via the Nick Mobile website wap.nick.com.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is such a completely silly book, even though it is popular. HP, one would hope, should win as the age range is huge. Twilight is more limited....i mean, you would not have many 10 year olds reading it...or it they are, they arent completely understanding it.

Yeah, I wish they had put the UK Children's edition cover.. If you look under the image, it says "Harry Potter Series" so it isn't voting for HBP, it's voting for the series. They just used the American HBP cover for whatever reason. (Maybe it's the most popular of the 7?)

I agree with all of you guys. twilight has a limited age range, there ARE way tooo many tweens and teens obsessed with Edward, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid kinda bored me. Nick does have alot of younger viewers, though. they might try to get Diary to win. *Didn't HP win last year?*(if Twilight doesn't win, are fangirls going to revolt against Nick? Interesting thought.)
