Rupert Grint and Emma Watson spoke about the Quidditch scenes in Half-Blood Prince to MTV, including Ron's turn on the broom and Hermione trying to stop Harry from using Felix Felicis. A short video of Rupert talking about the lack of joy he felt whilst riding the broom can be seen below:

Emma discusses Harry and Hermione's conflict over Felix Felicis:

"She definitely disagrees with Harry putting the Felix Felicis in Ron's drink because it's the equivalent of taking steroids before a match or for athletics," Watson explained. "She really disagrees with it, but then she finds out that Harry's actually been smarter than her and it's all a psychological thing."

"It's kind of like a placebo drink," Watson said. "So it's all OK in the end."

On the fact that he couldn't play Quidditch in Order of the Phoenix, and the revelation he experienced once he got on a broom for Half-Blood Prince, Rupert said:

"I was actually really gutted last year because that is sort of Ron's big Quidditch moment and I was really upset they didn't have that in ['Order of the Phoenix']," he said. "I was really looking forward to doing it this time, but it's actually sort of an anticlimax because it's really hard work.

"You're on a broom for a long time, like a few hours at a go," Grint grinned. "You're literally sitting on a broom and it gets a little bit sore down under a bit. It's been fun, but it's quite hard work."

Aw thats cool that they keep the Felix scene! Can't wait! 12 days!

hahahahaha...poor rupert! he was all excited to play quidditch...and then it came at a price :lol:

Eventually these kids (Emma here) will learn when in interviews and asked about certain plot points they'll answer in a way that doesn't spoil it for those who haven't read the books. Thanks alot Emma for giving that away. Next she'll reveal who the HBP is!

yeah really cool they kept the felix felices.....they usually keep the good/important things...i have not had a lot of disagreement with that...ultimately the movies make you feel all you were supposed to feel the magic the sadness the excitement etc

Can't wait for this movie!
They should just release it right now with HD links and everything.

Yeah, it's shown in one of the previews...Harry's holding it and showing Hermione whilst Ron and Lav-Lav are kissing.

Great interviews!! Love Rupert and Emma! Lol @ Rupert saying it gets sore down under. And I love the part in the book when Harry pretends to give Ron the Felix Felicis! It's hilarious and such a smooth move on Harry's part. :P
