Videos: Evanna Lynch & Matthew Lewis talk Deathly Hallows train filming
 

At last month's Irish premiere and accompanying junket, actors Evanna Lynch and Matthew Lewis spoke about how their roles in Half-Blood Prince became more peripheral, which allowed them to watch much more of the filming than before. Evanna also admitted that there will be a train sequence filmed for Deathly Hallows Part I which will show the Hogwarts students (sans Harry, Ron, and Hermione) heading to their very-altered school. The videos can be seen below:

The train thing is actually a good idea, to show a different perspective of the school during the bad time.

I wonder if this might mean they'll show Luna getting kidnapped off the Hogwarts express.

that would definitly be interesting if they did do that! its a good idea! cant wait to hear more of what they are filming!

I’m glad that they seem to be adding scenes to the film that aren’t strictly from Harry’s perspective, they started doing it in HBP with Draco. I think this will make the film better overall, and give the audience more of an understanding of what going on especially those who haven’t read the books.

They're not really 'added' since we know the kids did go back to Hogwarts. It's like with the bridge thing in HBP; instead of just being told, we're going to be shown.

Ooh, I hope they do do that! But I also hope that this scene isn't TOO long. I think these last two movies have to be so close to the book. Adding scenes that were just mentiond in the books make me scared. I was okay with it for HBP, but now for DH... I don't know.

Evanna comes across as a calm soul like Luna, but It looks like to me she wants to get a word in edgewise but Matthew keeps answering the questions. Maybe the interviewer was focusing on Matthew but it sure looks like Evanna wants to speak several times but keeps being discreet. Sweet.:lupin:

I like how they're adding the train scene. It's a great idea and I don't mind if it wasn't in the book, as long as it captures the atmosphere.

that's a bit laughing out loud when Matthew said he was terrible... I knew Dan love rock n' roll musics because i'm his fan too, but i didn't know Matthew loves that kind of musics too... happy to know it..
