Video: The Red Queen meets Alice in new clip from Disney's Alice in Wonderland
Disney has sent over the first proper clip from Alice in Wonderland – running at a full minute long, featuring The Red Queen's first encounter with Alice, or Um from Umbridge, as the case may be. Helena Bonham Carter, who portrays the Red Queen in the film, praised the hard work of those actors involved in the CGI process. During filming, these actors were entirely dressed in green. Quote:
I got to act with lots of green people.
They’re the unsung heroes, all the actors who won’t ever be seen or heard, frankly, because we had a legion of actors in green leotards reading for the other characters. And they’re brilliant. We couldn’t do it without them.
