Warner Bros launched their 'For Your Consideration' promotional website for upcoming awards shows, including the 2012 Academy Awards, and listed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, as well as its actors and creative team as contenders for a variety of categories, including best picture of the year. Along with the promotional page, seen here, a new 'For Your Consideration' trailer for the final installment of the series was released, as well as a few new promos. Those can be seen, via MN, below.

I think that Rupert should get the nod for Best Supporting actor as well as Alan Rickman but I am leaning towards Rupert. I think that each and every time he was on screen HE shined! I love Alan as Snape but my gut has Rupert... Go Rupert!
