While promoting his upcoming features New Moon and The Prisoner at this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con, actor Jamie Campbell Bower spoke to E! about how he got the role of Gellert Grindelwald in Deathly Hallows. The short video can be seen below:

I'm still on the fence about him ... so who's playing Young Dumbledore?

There's a rumoured actor, but nothing has been confirmed yet by WB or any casting agency.

He doesn't look "menacing" or "intriguing" enough to play a young Grindlewald. But I guess we will just have to wait and see. :P

I haven’t seen him in anything yet so I can’t comment on his acting ability, but he definitely isn’t how I imagined a young Grindelwald to look.

I'm very, very curious about young Dumbledore, and old Grindelwald.

Thats not quite how I imagined Grindelwald would look! He looks more like how I pictured Dumbledore...but hey...

Once the HP Make up artist gets a hold of him, I'm sure he'll look more like a power hungry villian, more like Grindelwald.

He plays Caius, of the Volturi, in New Moon!

Indeed he does! He does look like the Grindelwald I conjured up in my mind as I read the book. I am sure he will be fine. There have been very, very few actors in HP movies that I felt did not look as I imagined.

He doesn't really look like a Grindelwald, but I'm sure he'll do fine with makeup and effects. We'll just have to wait and see...

The recent pictures of him as Caius for New Moon makes him look just like Lucius Malfoy.
I liked him somewhat in Sweeny Todd. I don't care to see him in New Moon, but am interested to see what he does with his role in DH. Hopefully he does great!
