Post Video: Harry Potter series honoured at 2011 Teen Choice Awards, wins seven awards
The Harry Potter series was honoured at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards, where the cast and final films, Deathly Hallows: Part 2 won several awards, including best fantasy film. Tom Felton and Rupert Grint were on hand at the ceremony in Los Angeles in Sunday evening, and with the aid of Daniel Radcliffe via satellite in New York City, accepted the seven awards on behalf of the finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2. That entire feature can be watched here.







The 2011 Teen Choice Awards won by the Harry Potter films included:
• Choice Summer Movie - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
• Choice Summer Movie Star: Male - Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
• Choice Summer Movie Star: Female - Emma Watson, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
• Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy Star: Female - Emma Watson, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
• Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
• Choice Movie: Liplock - Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1

that was a fun way to accept the awards

although Rupert's and Tom's real names were drowned out, not sure how i would feel to be introduced as a character and not my own name specially at this crucial point of their careers where they're trying to continue post-Potter.

as for the Kiss selection.... well to be fair it was the hottest kiss in all of the 8 movies, yes Ronmione was cannon and movie-wise it was actually pretty good, but Horcrux Harmione was the thing to beat, it even had mainstream media commenting on it.

potter totes beat out twilight for sci/fy movie, sci/fy female actor, and lip-lock (and for that it beat 2 of theirs). i am officially of the firm belief that teens are better voters than kids!
