Love these. |
I REALLY wished they had the scene of Harry & Petunia and Harry & Dudley. From the book. It would of only have taken another 2 mins of the movie. I wish they had put some of thbe important stuff in the movies. The one of Ron and Hermione skipping stones kind of looks like Rupert and Emma just having fun on set. Love all of the scenes though! :D |
They're great, but I understand why they were deleted, except for the Petunia one, that one is so beautifull! Anyway, in the scene with Dudley, you can still see the green screens, are they just going to keep it that way on the DVD? Oh, and Dudley looked pretty weird to me! I do hope the DVD will have some more stuff, 'cause I feel like I have seen everything by now, Anyway, I'll know in 5 days! :-D |
Where can I found this video with English subtitles on it ? |
Whoo! These are really cool :D I wish they'd stayed in the movie :( I can't wait 'till it comes out  |
I really wish all these scenes had stayed in the film. I loved every one of them. |
Awesomee! I wish they'd kept the Dudley/Harry scene, it was so cute! :loved: |
I wish they had kept the scenes with the Dursleys, and I also like the Ron-Hermione moments :loved: |
i will wait for the blu ray disc...something to look forward to! |
Awesome scenes! Wish they'd made it into the movie. |
Awww i love the last one, really cute! |
Arrgghh - They totally should have kept in the scene of the trio talking about the horcruxes in the tent! It really seems to tie up a gap that was missing in the movie. Sometimes I don't like the editing of the movie - it skips too quickly from scene to scene with no in-depth explanation of what's going on. I find myself having to explain certain things to the non-book readers that I've watched the movie with - this precise scene for example - why did the locket make them act so crazy Because a piece of Voldemort is in it!! I also wish they kept in the Harry and Dudley scene - I liked it. |
And now I hate them for deleting the Dudley scene >_< I love it, it's amazing! Yeah well, at least it is in the DVD .. |
I actually really love the Aunt Petunia scene. It brings so much more humanity to her character. |
omg!!! is my youtube channel ^_^ so cuteeee!!!!! |
I wish they would've used the first scene, it makes Petunia seem more human or something. & the second scene made me laugh, Dudley is so awkward haha |
I'm kinda shocked here to see there was a scene explaining the name taboo, I just kind of assumed that wasn't even filmed. And Yates cut it!! Without that scene left in, it makes the deatheater attack at the cafe make little to no sense! I really don't understand David Yates sometimes... |
Haha, like father like son "Tell him to try an umbrella." Loved the scene with the trio in the tent. WIsh they'd kept that in! 11 More Days til the DVD comes out!!!! |
uggghhh why did they have to cut Dudley's part!!!! |
If they'd cut that ridiculous Harry and Hermione dance scene that was so out-of-canon, they could have included these scenes!!! |
They should have kept in the Petunia and Dudley bits. The movies never really emphasized Harry's life with the Dursleys. But if they're going to even bring up Petunia in Snape's memories, it would have been beneficial to include that scene. It also gives the movie audience a bit of insight as to why Petunia would have wanted to rid her life of the world that killed her sister. While Harry looks ridiculous in the fat suit (he lost a bunch of weight), this was a great scene, and well acted by Harry. It's too bad they cut the last part he did out. It would have been a nice ending to Harry's Muggle world for the movie audience to see. Sad they didn't keep it in. They should have definitely kept in the scene with the trio in the tent. It would have helped explain the Horcruxes to the movie audience, it would have given background since they ignored the Gaunts in the sixth film, it fully explained the taboo on Voldemort's name (even if Ron found out about it while he was gone) and it would have introduced the true effect of the Horcrux on all of them. It helps set up for the true moral change in the three of them, and helps depict just how it affected Ron and his decision to leave. This should have been kept in above all of the other scenes they cut. I'm okay with them cutting the Mr. Weasley scene. I still love the Ron/Hermione scene. This could definitely have been slipped in either before the Ministry trip (hard with the location) or after Ron returned, when he's determined to be optimistic. It helped bond the two of them, which they definitely did in the book, while Harry still separated himself. In the book, Ron and Hermione really get close, and they support each other when they have doubts about the journey. It's so tense, and this is a nice moment among the tension. It's a much more natural moment between the two (helped by the great chemistry and real life friendship of Rupert and Emma) than the awkward dance scene was for Harry and Hermione; neither character is naturally prone to dancing. And it was just an excuse (an unnecessary one at that) to give the Harry/Hermione ship a goodbye so to speak. I wish they had had a nice hug or a random, awkward Harry joke or even started singing a Muggle children's song (or even the Hogwarts school song)...it would have bonded the two of them, it would have given a little bit of light and innocence among the darkness Ron's departure brought, and it would have felt more natural for the characters. Dan and Emma have a nice chemistry themselves, and Emma was perfect in that scene (especially the last look that says, "I'm with you, Harry, and thanks for trying to cheer me up. But you're not Ron. Ron left. And we're sad"). It would have still given them that essential "We're-friends-could-there-be-something-more-nope-I-love-Ginny-and-I-love-Ron-and-Ron-left-and-we're-alone-and-scared-and-still-don't-really-have-a-plan-but-we'll-venture-on" moment that the dance scene was supposed to achieve. I just could never get into it. I guess...if they could include the random and awkward dancing scene, this simple, natural moment could have been included too...and it would have also featured Harry feeling secluded (which he did), and also present and reiterate the importance of the mirror... Shannon :hello: |
There was a number of good scenes here that they should have not cut out from the movie! :xd: |
I realise some scenes needed to be cut in order to make the film a reasonable length, but these ones are really good. |
They should have kept those scenes in the movie! The Dursley scenes were especially emotional...even though they kinda got ruined with the fat suit Harry Melling's wearing. It made the whole scene look awkward. The Ron/Hermione scene was adorable too. (And I can't even skip a rock.) |
Can't wait for DVD. I love the Ron & Hermione scene. Thanks masterofmystery. :) |
