Video: First My Week with Marilyn trailer, with Emma Watson, Kenneth Branagh, more Yahoo! movies released the first trailer for the upcoming release of My Week with Marilyn, starring Harry Potter alumni Emma Watson, Kenneth Branagh, Toby Jones, Geraldine Somerville, Zoë Wanamaker, out in theatres November 4, 2011. The film also costars Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe, Eddie Redmayne, and Dame Judi Dench; the film will have its world premiere this Sunday at the New York Film Festival. It can be viewed below. http://www.snitchseeker.com/gallery/..._Image2~89.jpg http://www.snitchseeker.com/gallery/...Image1~130.jpg The story follows the real-life behind-the-scenes drama of the making of The Prince and the Showgirl between the two leads, played by Marilyn Monroe and Sir Laurence Olivier (Branagh) through the eyes of a young assistant Colin Clark (Redmayne), who chronicled the story of the fall out. Emma discussed her character, a wardrobe assistant named Lucy, who was the love interest of Redmayne's character before he became smitten by Monroe. "Lucy has experience on set, whereas to Colin Clark the film world is all new, shiny and exciting," says Watson. "She is very wary about Assistant Directors and she knows how these films run, but she‟s still a bit naïve and innocent. Even though at first she‟s very careful of Colin, she falls for him and ends up getting hurt." |

yeah Dominic Cooper is there too  (he's not listed on the article here but you can see him clearly ;)). he plays Milton Green who is Marilyn's confidante and took some of the most famous and rarest photographs of Marilyn that we value today. and about Emma's wig, well yeah its looks a little... strange  but then i do like how brown it looks  at least now i have visual reference on what Hermione should |
awesome! |
Even if this ends up being a limited release, I wil hunt it down as I did The Runaways. The nly thing that would stop me from seeing this is if no theatre within an hours time from m house is showing it. |
I THINK it's so fantastic |
Wow, Emma with a bang looks... Horrible :P And I did NOT recognize Kenneth Branagh!! He looks so old :whaa: |
What an amazing cast! Can't wait to see it! And personally, i loved Emma's look :D |
emma looks different, but I love her performance here is very beautiful |
Headboy Salander in the house!!! I mean... omgosh! Dominic Copper... :woot: Emma looks pretty here... Will be watching this!!! |
The setting, clothes and color are breadth taking. It was fascinating seeing looking all grown up, I mean i know she's grown up but to see that mature and relax look was very interesting, I think I'll watch it a few more times There is a new book that has been published by Lee Stausburgs family. It consists of dozens of letters, scribblings (That you can read) poems, personal notes to herself, reminders and some extremely well expressed feelings of a young Moroe. Even when she was seventeen, she wrote like a profound and serious thinker. I'm getting that book, I couldn't put it down. It's scanned copies in her own handwriting with liner notes depecting what she wrote. Emma chose a great film to be in, and I like how it happens to to combine both countries,Brittian and the States concerning a global celebrity like Emma. This is highly appropriate considering the Harry Potter movies broke all the records for any Hollywood Movie. Now England is going to be respected as a major leader in film production. I can tell that this is going to be a movie that i will preorder on DVD Blue ray. I think I can tell how short Emma is and it makes her all the more cuter. One of the things that makes her special is she's beautiful and cute at the same time. This makes he attractive but in a little sister kind of way. She reall has a magical kindness and humble attitude. She is sweet. I bet England is going to have a lot more production companies in the wake of the Harry Potter films. (Wake was one of my vocabulary words last week) Now i now why they give them to us, even if we think we're not paying attention,it leaks into our brains. LOL I wonder if Emma started making this movie before she finished Deathly Hallows? If anyone knows, could you share that information with me. Quote:

It looks awesome! I can't wait to see it!! Emma looks great...although it's weird to see her with that hair. |
I'll watch it for Emma. I don't plan on missing anything with her in it. I hope she has a decent amount of screen time, we sadly see hardly any of her in the trailer. |
oh wow, Michelle Williams super pretty. Emma looks like Sigourney Weaver here. I love Michelle Williams and did a great job (as always). But as much as I love Michelle and though the movie was good I don't think I'm gonna watch this. I'm not fascinated with Marilyn Monroe and not my type of movie to see on big screen. But I'm hoping for the movie an Oscar nomination. Kenneth the Prof Lockhart? Hard to recognized him! |
Agree with the assessment: Emma's wig is not good. :) |
Looks absolutely amazing! I can't wait to see it, i literally got goosebumps watching this. I can't wait for it to come out, and i'm not just going to see it because emma's in it i'm going to see it because it the trailer really pulled me in and captivated me. |
Film looks great but her hair look ridkulus. :) |
CAN'T WAIT!!! :x3: Emma will be awesome :D :loved: |
Will most likely see it just because Emma is in it! |
The song in the trailer sounds great.. And the movie looks pretty interesting.. |
I am so gonna see this! Emma with long hair is something that I haven't seen in a while! |
