EA has released a teaser trailer and new promotional images of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I video game. The trailer can be seen below; the images can be found in our galleries.

A synopsis of the game is as follows:

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 videogame is packed from start to finish with action and combat. Players will be on the run, fighting for survival on a desperate and dangerous quest to locate and destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes, engaging with Death Eaters and Snatchers in epic battle sequences at every turn. To amplify the action, players will encounter ferocious creatures from the previous films in addition to the adversaries Harry faces in the seventh film. They will need to muster their most powerful magic against relentless assaults from all sides. There are no more lessons, no more training. This time the danger is real. Not such a big fan of the video games,but this one looks interesting.
I'll borrow it from my friend who's totally addicted to games like this,so I don't have to waste my money if it's not good as I expect.
I don't really know how to play games either,so I'll probably suck at it.

Love the part with Harry riding in the sidecar!

It seems to turn more and more from an adventure to an action-game. It reminds me the old times when Harry Potter 1-3 were almost pure Jump'N'Run games. The 7th game looks more like an 3rd-person-shooter, if you look at the machinegun-like curses :D

Sweeeet! I love how this video game teasers give us an idea of what the movie looks like as well - AWESOME! Particularly the bit with Harry flying along in the sidecar looks amazing!

I want to have it :D

Can't wait until it comes out! This will be an awesome game. I'll wait until the second it comes to buy it.

Great!!!:) I only have the 5th and 6th game,both of which I love,but this one sounds the coolest! I will buy this even if it's the only game I but all year. I couldn't watch the video but I saw the pictures. Was the dragon a Horntail or the one in the seventh?

And about the style of the game: I do love action games though the HP games I've played are more exploring stuff.I wonder if this will be like the some of the early ones I saw trailers of.

I'm SOOOO ready to buy this one. Might buy it for PC and Wii, since I can go use the Wii at a relative's house. Is it me, or do the graphics not look as amazing as say in... OOTP and HBP? Maybe it's because they're not in Hogwarts this time around?

Yeah I know that but the Harry Potter films are owned by Warner Bros. and they base the game on the movie, so perhaps it is part of their advertising campaign.

If you think about it, its pretty coincidental that they start advertising this game the same month Warner Bros. said they will start the Deathly Hallows campaign. So I expect a lot of official DH stuff this month. This is just the start. :P

That looks amazing! I will for sure be buying it when it comes out! I AM SO EXCITED.

I watched this and I must say that I will be buying the Lego Harry Potter video game if any. Sure the graphics look amazing but some of the things happening in this teaser don't relate to the book. When are there Dementors in DH?

Tbh, you can't really stick the epic camping trip in a video game. They had to action it up to make it worth buying.
