Video: Daniel Radcliffe on Treehouse of Horror The Simpsons Halloween special
The Treehouse of Horror episode of FOX's The Simpsons aired Sunday evening, featuring Daniel Radcliffe as young vampire Edmund, whom Lisa Simpson falls for. That segment has been released, and can be viewed here (note: there are some strong themes throughout).
I thought that it was hilarious. Having Dan play as vampire was enjoying to watch and listen! Hugh Laurie was a hoot as well. I really enjoyed the episode.
I'm not going to lie...the entire episode fell somewhat flat, compared with the earlier years but that's been a given. I miss the old "Tree House of Horrors" from when I was little. With that being said, this was actually the highlight of the show. It felt strange to have Dan's voice come out of a Simpson's character but it was funny, especially since it was Twilight being parodied. "Die, fatso, die!" Oh and Milhouse... I love him even more.

Haha, "Daniel Ratfink."
I know. It was over just as it was getting good. Dan must have had fun though. He should come back and do another character if he can, or return as Edmund. Whatever works.
This is just depressing. I'm surely one of the older members on this board (34) and so The Simpsons has been in my life since my early teens, yes it's nothing like what it once was overall but it's still been a source for plenty of laughs over the last several years. I watched this episode this morning and literally didn't laugh once. It was perhaps the worst Treehouse Of Horror they've EVER done. I'm also a huge "House" fan and so was looking forward to Hugh Laurie's segment, and that was a complete and utter waste.
Really the funniest line was what they had in the TV spot, the line about jumping like bats thru the trees, so being familiar with it I didn't even really laugh at that. I appreciate the irony of course of having Dan play the vampire in a Twilight parody, but just what a huge letdown
