UPDATED: Who will interview J.K.Rowling?

We reported several weeks ago that ITV were holding a contest to determine which lucky British child would interview J.K.Rowling on National TV.

A quiz show called 'Harry Potter at the Castle: The Quest for the Ultimate Potter Fan' will feature four finalists from this competition. Those four fans will compete for the chance to interview Rowling.

The programme will be aired on ITV1 on Sunday July 10th at 5:15pm.

Four of JK Rowling's biggest fans test their knowledge of the best-selling saga. The young contestants must also prove their journalistic skills as the winner will get to interview the author in an exclusive one-to-one chat to mark the imminent publication of the sixth instalment, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. UPDATE: An Irish news site has quoted the presenter of the show as saying:

they are also on friday/sat showing the interview from the castle with JKR and the reading

Yeah, but we haven't got times and stuff for that yet. It was all announced as one press release earlier but this gives specifics.

Well i know what i am watching in sunday.. but if it is on at 12.00 ont he friday isnt it silly as most of the people who ewould watch it are either buyign the book or in bed?

Have they mentioned yet who the four finalists are? I'm surprised we havent heard anything yet about the four unless they want to keep quiet about it.

True but I imagine most bookstores will put on their TV's for the live reading from JK. I'm going to have my mum record it just to be on the safe side. I think it's supposed to go worldwide.
