Wow cool. I hope he gets the part...I'd love to see him do something outside of HP, to see just how well he can act. I don't doubt he'll do well though, but It'd be fun.

Is that a funny/serious/romantic/etc. type of film? Just to know... cuz Rupert's been lobbed into the "silly acotr" category by some people, but I think he's tremendous at serious acting.

I really did enjoy the storyline of "Thunderpants"... A little boy and the whole flatulation infatuation... So subsophomoric, and yet, so creative!

Well consdiering it'll also star Julie Walters it'll probably be a good film/drama piece with some seriousness to it. Julie always chooses the most amazing projects so yeah, if it's true that she's involved then I think it's likely that Rupert will be able to reach his full potential as opposed to being labelled just a funny faces actor.

There shouldn't be. They finish HP, the latest being April so he's got months between then and November to do a film if he so wishes. The others, Dan especially, have exams after that but neither Tom nor Rupert do. Tom, I think, has chosen to take a break but we've yet to hear what Rupert will do.

And he has done other things - Thunderpants (bad film, with one brilliant actor) and Happy Birthday Peter Pan.

My guess is he might do after this year, having finished school. Once they finish filming GoF he has the build up to his GCSE's and then his prom, assuming he'd go and then after that there wouldn't be enough time to do another project before starting to oil the publicity machine for GoF which comes out in November.

I hope Rupert gets to do this project and finally get the opportunity to prove that he can do more than just "comic relief" for a film. I support him all the way!

I think he should get a better talent agency tho!

He's also done Molesworth, a part in a radio play on BBC Radio 4. I'm trying to get it so I can hear it, I think it would be good.
