Universal Orlando Resort president talks Harry Potter park
 

At a Halloween Horror Night function recently Bill Davis, president of Universal Orlando Resort, gave away a few vague hints about what fans can expect from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The theme park is scheduled to open in 2010.

Well a small hint is better than none. In Universal you would expect rides!

I hope it's an indoor virtual rollercoaster - like the one Universal built in L.A. for The Simpsons. You could theoretically ride a broomstick in a Quidditch match, be in the Flying Ford Anglia, ride on a dragon's back ...

i really believe that this will be an outstanding theme park!!! i am going to travel to america and go there when i finish school(in less than 2 years)!!! undoubtly it will be an awsome experience!!!!!

I was at Universal only last week so I could see from outside some of the building and there is definately a big ride being built but what it is you couldn't see it was still under wraps but the beginnings of Hogwarts castle was visable. The Park looks awesome and apparently evereything is on schedule for 2010 if not before.

Can't wait, i went to universal in April and you could see the steel buliding,its going to be very big, and very cool. i wonder what its going to look like when i go back to Orlando next April lol

I really hope it opens/ is ready on time. that way i can go before i graduate!
