Tom Felton wins Best Villain 2010 MTV Movie Award; completes Deathly Hallows filming
 

Of the five categories in which Harry Potter was nominated at this year's MTV Movie Awards, only one came out as a winner: Tom Felton. Tom, who was nominated as Best Villain for his role as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, came out victorious tonight. UPDATE: Tom spoke to MTV on the red carpet, where he confirmed that his girlfriend, Jade Gordon, would indeed be playing Astoria Malfoy in the Deathly Hallows epilogue (strongly rumoured to be so in the photos released two weeks ago). Tom also confirmed that he completed Deathly Hallows filming three days ago.

I hadn't even looked to see who else was running for the award until my brother asked me and when I saw that he beat out Christoph I was stunned. He was amazing in Inglorious B. and I agree that he deserved the award as well. I suppose the MTV Movie Awards probably does attract a younger audience and a lot of voters probably didn't see the movie. That is the only reason I can think of as to why he didn't win.

The true villain of the series is Voldemort, and he hated the Malfoy's. In the end, the Malfoy's proved to be more heroes than villains. At the very most, Draco was an annoyance to Harry, but never a threat. Not a good villain, but rather a mediocre hero. Do you really think that if Draco was a true villain, that you guys would still like him so much?

Mark is soo cool and I have to say Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg were funny when they ribbed Tom. I don't see how anyone did not stop laughing. Tom was aces and Mark was too for the apology.

Christoph did do an excellent job in IB but for the audience these movies are aimed at it shouldn't be a surprise that he didn't win. Plus Tom is hotter. At the same time though I think everyone nominated deserved the award in some way, but I also think Tom fans voted a lot because all over feltbeats and stuff there were reminders to vote for him as Best Villain.

But since he did win it's absolutely great *fangirls* and he was adorable in the interview.

Christoph Waltz is definetly the better "villain" of the the two. Just think, who did you hate more after watching both of the movies, Hans Landa or Draco Malfoy? Yeah, not even close. It is a shame that the audience wasn't older.........
