A poster for Tom Felton's new film, The Disappeared, has appeared online.

A trailer for the film can be found here. As of yet the movie has no release date.

Further to that there is a new rumour of his potential casting in Emma Of Lulworth Cove.

Quote:

Producer Ray Stokes said he had secured commitment from an impressive cast and was in talks with the Lulworth Estate about location fees.

He claimed that stars of the film could include Roger Daltrey of the rock band The Who, Harry Potter's Tom Felton, who played baddy Draco Malfoy, and Oscar-winning character actor Martin Landau of The X-Files.
The following is a plot synopsis of the book which is being adaptated into a film;

Quote:

The plot, set in Lulworth, tells the story of a woman who haunts the cove after being killed by treacherous seas, but then falls in love with a young man.

He leaves her after discovering she is a ghost and the love story turns to horror when he returns years later, with a wife and family, to work as a coastguard.

Emma of Lulworth sounds very good, I just hope it is released in America in a timely fashion so we dont have to wait for it to go to DVD. Of course, the same applies to The Disappeared. I would see this for Tom Felton alone.

It seems like a really good movie, though the trailer is quite scary.
I can't wait for the movie to come out.

FrancesscaFinite 08-04-2008 02:22 PM

thats right good!

Patronus Charm 08-04-2008 02:43 PM

Just checked the production company's website, no mention of Emma Watson under the talent and crew section, only "Tom Felton (in discussion)"...so not sure about Emma Watson...

R&Hr 08-04-2008 03:31 PM

In making the announcement, Robinov said, “Emma is an actress of extraordinary talent. I have had the pleasure of working with her since the third installment of the Potter films. This will be the first time we get to see her as an antagonist, and we are excited at her eagerness to expand her roles.”

now it's tom felton up for it too?wht abt emma,is she in?can anyone confirm this??:hermy:

Where did you see this announcement? It'd be really cool to see both Tom and Emma doing a movie together! (outside the HP films)

Mari of the Ocean 08-04-2008 07:14 PM

love it :)

emjay 08-04-2008 07:45 PM

Am I the only one that thinks Tom looks a bit odd in that picture? Oh well, I love him anyway. I'm not much of a horror flick fan, but I'd go to see them just to see him in them.

Emma was offered the role but she turned it down. I think that's why they are talking to the Paxton girl. That was way before Tom was brought up though. I'm thinking Emma has Napoleon and Betsy lined up or hopefully lined up for the same time. Both are scheduled for the fall - tentatively. (IMDB has Napoleon and Betsy start date for October, for whatever it's worth.)

i'm not really a horror aficionado, but we'll see how this one turns out.

Mrs_Molly_Weasley 08-04-2008 08:10 PM

That looks great!

Paint.the.Limelight 08-04-2008 09:30 PM

That's cool!

Zoe 08-04-2008 10:37 PM

That's cool. I'm not sure if I'll be seeing this movie in theatres, but I plan on seeing it sometime in my life if I don't get the chance to in the theatre.

RadcliffeWatson 08-04-2008 11:16 PM

I think Emma Watson should do this film! It would be good to see both Tom and Emma in the film!

half_blood_prince 08-05-2008 05:12 AM

the plot line seems like this is going to be a movie worth watching

phoenix_tears 08-05-2008 08:06 AM

Wo0o0oW

the story sounds nice ~

Tks,

Whisper of the Heart 08-05-2008 10:58 AM

I'm not really a horror person, but both films sound good.

Emma Watson isn't attached to the project at all. That's wishful thinking, nothing more.

That hasn't officially been announced yet, though. At the moment Emma is on holiday and doing summer school, according to the rumours.

Hermionespell 08-05-2008 03:43 PM

I'm happy to see Tom getting other roles. I wouldn't like it very much if he just disappeared from the movie map after Harry Potter is over.

Eclipsed 08-06-2008 05:31 PM

Sounds awesome.

Wonderstruck 08-07-2008 06:46 PM

That's looks scary. I am a wimp when it comes to horror movies so I might not be seeing that, haha, but it looks good nevertheless.
