Post The Daily Mail publishes Daniel Radcliffe poem (UPDATED)

In a recent interview with The Guardian Daniel Radcliffe revealed that he has published poems under the pen name of Jacob Gershon. The Telegraph have reportedly uncovered these works.

The subjects approached include; infidelity, Pop Idol and Kate Moss's former boyfriend, the singer Pete Doherty.

Quote:
One of the four, Away Days, details the narrator's affairs with prostitutes, conducted while his unsuspecting wife and son believe he is away on business.

Another critiques Simon Cowell and the queues of "deluded" hopefuls who line up to compete in TV talent contests.

He also wrote one on attempting to seduce woman.
They were printed in November 2007 in Rubbish magazine.

Quote:
Introducing Radcliffe's verses, it says it is "proudly debuting the work of Jacob Gershon, 17, a very exciting and dynamic young poet".

A spokesman for the magazine said: "Poetry is a key aspect to Rubbish, so it was fantastic to be able to provide the platform for 'Jacob' and his debut work."
UPDATE: One of the poems written by Dan can now be read here courtesy of the Daily Mail.

oh, i'm sure theres going to be two camps on this. Either he's the greatest living poet these isles have discovered since that upstart Shakspeare, orsome fully fledged art critic from 'The Times' or such like will tell him to stick to the day job. It's not bad for a 17 year old, and beats all the love and romance guff , shows some imagination, but room for improvement and growth, and i look forward to more. Rubbish Magazine must be loving the coverage.

I read it yesterday. i'm not a poetry expert but it was good can't belive a 17 year old boy wrote that. but it don't disappoint me what he wrote about. he can write whatever he wants to.

No-one said that. There was a critic in the Daily Mail reviewing one of them, he said good things and also some things he could improve. Which proves jain's theory wrong, sorry! There is always a middle ground, thankully it doesn't always have to be black or white.
It's pretty good for a 17 years old, now that he is almost 20 he must be even better.

He's really brave for giving his pen name away, knowing that it'll be everywhere in no time.

EDIT: I just read 'Away Days' It's an amazing poem! I've never been able to get into poetry, but that was very well written!

Wow!! Dan is so freakin' cool! I can't believe he's a published author!

This poem is really good!! He's got to write more. He only wrote this when he was 17 and people always get better with age.
