| | |  Technomedia Solutions to produce Harry Potter theme park sounds, new rumours surface
Technomedia Solutions have been hired to provide the sounds for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park in Orlando, Florida. This involves; audio soundtrack design, music composition, site mixing, and audio visual systems design, integration and programming. Quote:
"We plan to do things with the soundtrack and systems that no one has ever attempted on a dark ride and we are confident like many projects we have had the great fortune to be a part of over the years, we will raise the bar on what music and soundtracks should sound like," said project creative director and president of Technomedia, John Miceli. "With the long list of projects being planned for the world, we do believe Harry Potter will lead the way on defining what is possible today."
The park is schedule to open in late 2009/early 2010.
Source: UHP UPDATE: Further to this news, a new rumour has emerged that the theme park will feature a Harry Potter themed MagiQuest. Quote:
In addition to the Magic Wand MagiQuest technology inside the land, rumor has it that Universal will also make special interactive Harry Potter themed suites available at their hotels, similar in concept to the MagiQuest suites installed at the Great Wolf Lodges in Virginia where guests can use their wands to activate several installed special effects.

That sounds amazing the sound is a large part of the park, it sets the theme and mood of everything. I like the wands though those sound fantastic! I am really excited because my grandparents live in florida, so on my way down i might aswell se the park!
