Signed Deathly Hallows to be auctioned at charity ball

The Perthshire Advertiser is reporting that a signed first edition copy of Deathly Hallows will be auctioned off at the Touch of Tartan charity ball on August 29th to benefit the Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service (PKAVS). The book is said to be worth over £500 ($932.90).

The event will be held at Perth’s Salutation Hotel in Scotland.

I honestly would figure it would be worth more than that!!

It's quite expensive but it's worth it..

I thought it would cost more too. But that's still a pretty penny to pay for a book! :)

It's great that a signed book can be worth so much :)

Thats brilliant!

That's wonderful. I thought it would be worth a bit more being signed.

That's wonderful, I hope it makes more than that though!

That's wonderfull:)
(but a 1st edition of DH isn't really rare..especially compared to PS/SS)

That's awesome :D

True, but hang onto it for several years or even a decade and then auction it off....first edition of her last book...signed...! Will be worth loads more.
