SnitchSeeker.com - Send Dan a note: "Candle for Care" Christmas Charity Fundraiser

DanRadcliffe.co.uk & DanRadcliffe.com are once again appealing to Dan's fans on his behalf asking them to donate to a very worthwhile charity, Demelza House, a children's hospice, instead of sending him presents.

This year they've come up with a "Candle for Care" fundraiser.

Dan left the following special message for fans:

"As we approach Christmas, I would like to make an appeal, that this year again, instead of sending presents to me, may I suggest you make a donation to Demelza House, the Children’s Hospice I support. Last year’s appeal was extremely successful and, while I love receiving gifts from all over the world, I am afraid I no longer have enough space in my house to store the wonderful presents I have been sent over the years. A donation - however small - makes a huge difference to the children of Demelza House.

I hope wherever you are in the world you have a happy, fun and above all peaceful Christmas and New Year.

There is also a special feature running this year for those who donate/respond to Dan's request.

All fans that donate to this very worthy cause will have the opportunity to send Christmas thoughts and wishes to Dan along with their donations. All of the thoughts and wishes will be collected by both sites and then combined and printed in a professionally bound book for Dan this Christmas season, courtesy of Demelza House! ALL those wanting to have a Christmas message published and sent to Dan for the holidays needs to make their donation and send in their message no later than 17 December 2004. For details on how to submit your Christmas wish to Dan please see the Donations and Questions section below. (And please refrain from sending marriage proposals or "I love you you're so hot" messages, those types of messages are not acceptable.)

Additionally, if you prefer to send any general messages, in lieu of a wish to Dan - or in addition to - it will be put into the Candle for Care book at Demelza House. The Candle for Care book will be open at their carol service on 11th December and also on their Open Day on 22nd January. If you send the general messages by 9th December they can be put in the book in time for the carol service, and any that come in after that through Christmas day can be sent to them in time for their Open Day on the 22nd January. It is important to note these wishes will not be sent to Daniel - the purpose of the general messages would be to say a wish for a loved one or friend; someone other than Dan. You can of course send a message for the Candle for Care book, as well as Dan's Christmas Wish book - but you will need to clarify which message is for which book when you send it in. Please send any general messages to ME by 11th December.

Finally, all of you who do send in donations will receive a little thank you in response as well. Just for you.
