Harry Potter actors Tom Felton and Rupert Grint headed to artist Rankin’s Eyescapes Los Angeles exhibit opening party on Wednesday evening, where they posed with one of the photographer's rather large and vivid portraits. The image can be found in our galleries. 
Tom commented later that evening on his and Rupert's escapades on experimental pizzas for dinner. Quote: TomFelton: another great night with the gang in la! rupert ordered a pizza with truffles and so we all got fits of giggles bcos it smelt so bad!
i offered him a bit of my pepperoni but he soldiered on & tried to eat it! never has my nose been subjected to such an aroma...night night x
More on the exhibit by Rankin (no relation to Chris, who portrayed Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter films), which opened to the public on Thursday, August 4, can be read here. Quote:
The launch coincides with the release of a range of Swatch watches that Rankin designed for the brand, using images from the exhibition.
Rankin says ‘The photographs depict eyes in extreme closeup, at which point they take on the undulating and expansive qualities of a landscape photograph. Eyes are my favourite part of the body. Eyes, and getting the best out of them, are my stock-in-trade as a portrait photographer – I am constantly saying to subjects, ’smile with your eyes’.
Also, Tom Felton is already confirmed to attend Sunday's Teen Choice Awards, where he is nominated as best villain for his work as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. SnitchSeeker just got word from Rupert Grint's reps that 'hopefully, yes' he will be attending the awards as well. We will have full coverage of the event this weekend.  | |

Wow, this exhibit sounds really interesting. I haven't heard of this artist before but the description above gave me an insight, he must be a very precise artist to have captured art in eyes!  & I love how Rupert and Tom are enjoying their time together, good for them

I just think it's awesome how down-to-earth and real these guys are. So many of the actors seem to be great friends and just enjoy hanging out. I guess when you share a childhood like that, you tend to understand each other better than anyone else could.
