Summary:

Article:

Rare Potter book sells at auction

A rare draft copy of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" sold at auction for 1,468 GBP or $2,500 USD. This proof copy of the book was considered valuable because of a printing error where the author is credited on the title page as JA rather than JK Rowling.

J.A. Rowling? That's a lot but, then again, what was I expecting?

I find it odd how they find the printing mistake valuable, I'd think more of just the book.. But, I can sort of understand why.

I didn't think it was just rare for the mistake. Isn't it one of the first copies?

That's cool! I mean with that much amount I could by myself all the Linkin Park stuff I want (which I am listening now) and half the Harry Potter stuff!! LOL!! Well, the main thing how can they find a printing error so valuable or maybe because it was the first copy I suppose??? And yes Quiditch Playa88. She is lots more rich than the Queen.
