During the Manchester United Foundation tour of schools and libraries, it was revealed that the football player Wayne Rooney is a fan of the Harry Potter books, with Philosopher's Stone being his favourite of them all.

I don't know why, I saw "Wayne Rooney" in the news headline and giggled a little. He's a funny guy...

But yes, even football players read Harry Potter! Wouldn't it be brilliant if Gerrard came out saying "OMG I love Ron Weasley, he's the best!!!"

And HP isn't a kids series. Considering some of us are well past the "children" stage in our lives... my aunt and dad are potty about the series, too.
