Post Quote of the Week - Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant


While promoting their upcoming feature, Cemetery Junction (also starring Ralph Fiennes), actors, comedians, and filmmakers Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant - who also created Extras, in which Daniel Radcliffe guest starred four years ago - were asked if they were ever approached to take part in the Harry Potter film franchise.

Ricky was asked if he had ever been approached to join the all star British cast. Ricky replied that he had not only never read the books but had also not even seen the films. However Stephen Merchant quiped to Ricky that he wouldn't mind playing Harry Potter himself, but only if it could be 35 year old Harry Potter.

To which Ricky replied "That's OK, but I feel like the 58 year old Harry Potter!"
