Mr. Horn still the rude guy we all know of and I for one am not a big fan of after what he said about the delay. I'd think he would atleast have enough respect for the creator of Harry Potter Miss JK Rowling enough not to ask a question like that. I dislike this guy even more now.

All kidding aside, didn't Ms. Rowling say that she might write another book in 10 years or so? I forgot where I heard that from...

I believe she said something about writing an encyclopedia of Harry Potter which technically is not another Harry Potter book per say, more like a companion and we have no idea if that will ever happen.

That would be cool to have more books by Rowling but I think she should just stick to Harry Potter and Harry's story. But I also think it would be incredibly awesome of she posted short stories on her website or something: D lol It's a bit depressing though, knowing there's no more HP books so just keep rereading them lol..

Also, I agree with Herminny ^^^ I read that somewhere too, maybe on her site? Maybe she's abandoned that idea.

I'm currently at Infinitus 2010 conference. A couple of hours ago John Granger, a speaker, speculated on how soon the Warner Brother CEO would be begging for a new book. He suggested the CEO wait until at least 15 minutes after the movie premiere. Guess he couldn't wait longer than 15 minutes after principle photographer completed. LOL.

She has promised an encyclopedia...as long as she does that, I totally agree with her.

Plus, she's already written 7 beyond incredible books for the series, plus The Tales Of Beedle The Bard (which was excellent!). Harry's story has come to an end.

I am with Jo on her wanting to not right anymore Harry Potter books. Why would she want to go downhill writing more books on a story that has ended on such a high? She wants to give Harry justice and finish him then, rather than wait until it gets old and the story is warped.

But I am also excited to see what ELSE she decides to write. She can still stick withthe genre and do something other than Potter that will be great!

I'm glad she believes she's done. HP has been wonderful, but I think if you stretch a story too much, it becomes like bubblegum that's been chewed too much - tasteless. It would be lovely to see Jo experiment in a new genre.

I think we'd ALL love more HP books to read but... really, guys? Give the lady a break. The whole point of the series was to detail Harry's childhood, mainly his teenage years, and detail his struggle that led to Voldemort's defeat. Now that Voldemort is dead and gone, what more will there be to right about without the risk of making it tacky, cliched, etc.?

EDIT: I heard a few years back that she was penning something of an adult mystery novel. Now, I'll definitely take a look at that.

I think Jo has done a great job. It's up to her where she wants to go.

all of us Harry Potter fans wanted this to happen ! i do believe she doesn't want to go on with this idea cause she's insecure of what would that turn out to be! i bet she thinks it'd probably be something that the fans might not like and afraid it'd spoil the entire saga! she wrote the saga for fun and most important she created this whole magic world in agreement of her life story and traumas and stuff! if she feels she's done with it then listen to her. In my opnion when she started writing the first Harry Potter book it's just ran out inside her mind ! to sum up i agree with Rowling

I am still keeping my fingers crossed for a Marauder's series! Or just something completely new, but I don't think anything she does will compare with Harry Potter. But, who knows what Jo might have up her sleeve!

I've read (or am reading) a boom by John Granger, he's a genius! (though not as much as Jo)

I kind of want another series of books for the next gen, but I kind of don't.. Just to leave us all with a.. Place to think and expand our minds greatly as to what could happen..

I doubt some of you really know enough about Alan horn to accurately judge whether or not you like him, I certainly wouldn't claim to. Just because he made a decision I didn't like for the release of HBP isn't enough for me to hate him. Life shouldn't be lived that fickle.

We're waiting for the enciclopaedia she promised.
