The Pentagon has released a document entitled "Ten Facts About Guantanamo" which claims that Harry Potter is the most requested book at the detention centre's library. Quote:
"The library has 3,500 volumes available in 13 languages -- the most requested book is Harry Potter," the list added.

I'm not surprised, I have heard of Harry Potter being popular in prisons as well. Reading the series is a good distraction, and when you're in a place like that, there isn't too much else you can do than spend your time reading.
