Potter not the world's best magician

Gandalf, from Lord of the Rings, has been named the World's Best Magician in a poll conducted by Pearl & Dean, involving 3,000 movie-goers. Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore came in second and third place respectively.

Lol. Gandalf is love & I mainly agree with the ranking. Either way, Harry should be proud he won over the likes of Merlin :P

Gandalf and Dumbledore seem pretty evenly matched, but I'd put my bet with Dumbledore.

I don't understand how Harry Potter is up there at all. He's shown relatively little extraordinary magical power and would rightly be stepped on by the likes of Merlin. The Wizard of Oz also wasn't a wizard, he was just a man hidden behind smoke and mirrors, literally.

Polls are so funny. Hardly ever are objective, since they're published in places where answers are bound to be, at best, a little biased.

Harry might not be as powerfull as the other two, but he's also one tenth of their ages, so...
