That is indeed a very humanitarian thing to do. In fact because HP is such a huge enterprise it would be be profitable for many a charity if the HP actors got together to do more of such things. Like maybe coming together with Rowling to do an audio book using their voices and maybe have a large percentage of the result to go to certain charities.
