Just like its Goblet of Fire predecessor, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been rated M by the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification due to its "moderate fantasy themes and violence."
According to the film’s distributor: Quote:
The classification of the film as an M is fair, given the content of the film.
Order of the Phoenix is rated PG-13 in the U.S. for sequences of fantasy violence and frightening images and 12A in the U.K. for moderate fantasy violence and horror.

A good rating I think 
I can only imagine how HBP will be, let alone DH (movies). I'm wondering if DH will be so scary it'll be rated 14A... or worse R, but hopefully it won't come to that. Better not! (actually I'll be 18 by the time DH comes out in theatres most likely anyways  If it comes out in 2010 of course. Depends)

A fair rating. I agreed with the PG-13 rating on GoF, there was a lot of stuff going on and it had some creepy themes so that was good. And if the movie of OotP is anything like the book, here's hoping, I think it deserves a PG-13 rating.

I think I agree with that rating... it's one of those things that you know it's not gonna get any lower of a rating, and the ones coming after that are probably going to get rated in a similar way - depending on what they actually put in the movies...
