| EmmaRiddle | 08-03-2006 02:09 PM | 'Order of the Phoenix' set reports & pictures (UPDATED) Reports and pictures from filming for 'Order of the Phoenix' at Virginia Water Royal Park, Surrey, England, have emerged online. The shoot included scenes featuring Professor McGonagall, Hagrid, Draco Malfoy, Crabbe & Goyle and around 150 extras. Quote:
First was the recovery of Professor McGonagall after her incident with the Death Eaters outside Hagrids hut; also following the attack at the Ministry and Hogwarts.
Professor McGonagall is resting in her chair, reading the headline 'He who must not be named returns' in her Daily Prophet whilst speaking to Hagrid (today it was Martin Bayford) standing in for Hagrid who is such a giant of a man.
We couldn't hear the dialogue but he was obviously comforting her after being hit by so many hexes.

At the same time this scene was being shot, from both front and rear (with the camera rising up to Hagrids chest only) the Slytherins were being filmed talking about the aftermath of Voldemorts return with Draco of course the centre of attention; declaring his Father and other Deatheaters would no doubt now win the battle!
| David Heyman was apparently also on set, eagerly signing autographs for fans.
Pictures from the shoot can be seen here.
Thanks to HP4U and HPFZ for the info!
Additionally Mugglenet reports that the scene in which Hagrid introduces Thestrals to the students, was filmed last week at Burnham Beeches, England. UPDATE: The Sun featured pictures of Hagrid's body double shooting in Berkshire. A scan of the article can be found here courtesy of The Snitch. |
