OotP to last 138 minutes According to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), Harry Potter and the Order the Phoenix will last precisely 2 hours, 18 minutes and 4 seconds. It’s not as long as some of us had hoped, but the movie will definitely keep us at the edge of out seats until the very last second. Personally, I think it’s quite short. I’m scared they’ll have cut exciting or important scenes. |

Should be longer but as long as they have created a really good movie then the length really does not matter that much. Now have they created a good movie? We'll just have to wait and see. |

That is a little bit shorter than I'd hoped or imagined, honestly... I mean PotC 3 is longer, but let's all just hope that they did the book justice in this fairly short amount of movie. |

Why? Why? Why? Why not 3 hours? Or even 2 and a half? I shouldn't say that I'm disappointed, but I really do want to know why they cut scenes. They are fantastic scenes we all really want to see! If it's a different movie with the same length of time as this, I'm going to say "that's very long!" But this...is the one and only Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The movie! |

I think the book is too long to be adequetly protrayed in film form. More than one part is going to be cut but I'm still looking forward to seeing what they make of it. |

Apparently there's a limit of two and a half hours (I read it somewhere), but they've probably cut really good scenes out - I mean, it doesn't even have the St. Mungo's part in! How will they show about Neville's parents? |

That is way too short for the Order of the Phoenix. It should be at least 2 1/2 hrs or longer closer to 3 hrs. |

I think it's cool. I hate movies that take too long... I think 2 hours is enough... If you want them to put the whole book in, they'll have to make a 4 hour movie... And you'll get tired, even if it's gonna be interesting. So I'm glad that the movie is not too long... |

I'm not really a big fan of the movies because of what they have done to the books. Namely, they have destroyed the books. I'm really hoping that they didn't cut out a lot of information and scenes.
