OotP to last 138 minutes
 

According to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), Harry Potter and the Order the Phoenix will last precisely 2 hours, 18 minutes and 4 seconds. It’s not as long as some of us had hoped, but the movie will definitely keep us at the edge of out seats until the very last second.


Personally, I think it’s quite short. I’m scared they’ll have cut exciting or important scenes.

That sounds short!!! POTC3 was longer than that!!

Way too short and OOTP i think had a very complicated plot line with lots of parts in it... They're going to cut something major. Like they did with Winky.

Should be longer but as long as they have created a really good movie then the length really does not matter that much. Now have they created a good movie? We'll just have to wait and see.

That is short!! I expect it to be longer,because SS was like 3 hours,and that was a really short book!! :/

That is a little bit shorter than I'd hoped or imagined, honestly... I mean PotC 3 is longer, but let's all just hope that they did the book justice in this fairly short amount of movie.

2 hours is long to me.. of course i hoped longer and the good stuff with our luck will be cut out the trailers look really good though

Why not 3 hours? Or even 2 and a half?
I shouldn't say that I'm disappointed, but I really do want to know why they cut scenes. They are fantastic scenes we all really want to see!
If it's a different movie with the same length of time as this, I'm going to say "that's very long!"
But this...is the one and only Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The movie!

I think the book is too long to be adequetly protrayed in film form. More than one part is going to be cut but I'm still looking forward to seeing what they make of it.

I wish it was longer.
