New Pottermore previews on Dursleys, Hogwarts Sorting, Sorcerer's Stone chapter intro
 

A first look at one of the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone chapter introductions to be featured on J.K. Rowling's interactive book experience, Pottermore.com, was released by the site's Twitter today. The screencap showed how players can integrate into chapter six of the first book, The Journey from Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. That can be seen here.

Also, a few extra tidbits were shown at the Pottermore press conference a week ago, including a bit more information about how Vernon and Petunia Dursley met at work prior to marriage, and exactly how people will get sorted into Hogwarts Houses. Please note that this is just one set of questions for the Sorting, and that J.K. Rowling set up a huge pool of questions that will be used at random for each Sorting, so no two people should be Sorted with the same exact questions.

For those who haven't yet, head over to Pottermore.com to register in order to test the site beginning July 31, 2011. Remember that the first people to register on Harry and J.K. Rowling's collective birthday will be allowed into the early site.

What if I am sorted to any house but Ravenclaw? I want to be Luna's Housemate. The sorting is going to be an awesome experience, though. :)
