New photos from Deathly Hallows Hogwarts Express Scotland shoot
 

Despite a month-long hiatus for most of the cast and crew, second-unit production took place earlier today for Deathly Hallows, where the Hogwarts Express was found heading to Hogsmeade station in Scotland. The shoot, which took place at Rannoch Station, was photographed by Aaron Sneddon and can be seen here.

It is not yet known what the train would be used for in the films, although Evanna Lynch once stated at a Half-Blood Prince press junket that there was a chance of seeing Luna's abduction from the Hogwarts Express. However, that is not confirmed at the present time (and could possibly change before the final product is complete).

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011.

Oh I remember they said something about this scene.

I think they said its after Harry, Ron, and Hermione talk about its weird they are not in the train and they show kids going in the train and Luna, Neville, and Ginny wondering where the trio is at. Then they are getting off the train at Hogsmade and we could see how different the atmosphere is, like its all depressed and you can see the kids looking scared. They also said there were death eater picking kids from groups.

That would be awsome if they added Luna's abduction! Since it's going to be mainly the trio, it would be nice to have a bit of a break between by seeing Luna, Ginny and Neville. :) I hope it's true!

they can't show her abduction though, I mean they would mess up the scene at Luna's house cause we are suppose to think that Luna is fishing for food, and that Xenophilis was going outside to check on her not to call Death Eaters.

Not really. Even though the audience knows that she's been abducted, the trio have no clue, so there's still the element of surprise for them. Who knows, maybe they'll set it up so that by the time the trio get to Xeno's house, they'll think that Luna's still there (and even throwing off the non-book fans into thinking Luna's back)? Many different approaches could be taken there.

Well, that sounds pretty awesome. Although, I don't know if they should show the abduction, it would still be cool if they did.
