A new photo of the actress to play the role of Leanne in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Isabella Laughland, has been posted online by her agency. This is her first major role.

Leanne is Katie Bell's friend who is with her when she gets cursed by the opal necklace.

not what i expected but still cool

It doesn't really matter how she looks like to me, because she wasn't as big of a character & wasn't described greatly. So yeah, glad they have Leanne in though! :]

She is Katie's friend. She's the one with Katie when the necklace touches her and Katie Bell flies up.

I pictured her as blonde but she looks pretty.

like serious, i completly forget that there has been any leane, are they serious, many important charakters are not going to be there, but yes such nobody like some leane which i cant even recall, im disappointed.

Leanne goes hysterical after Katie touches the necklace and is nearly killed. She is comforted somewhat by Hermione as they make their way back to the castle. I never had a mental image of what she looked like anyways, so i suppose the casting people felt she was perfect for the role. maybe she shrieked and sobbed convincingly.

I honestly can't remember when 'Leanne' is mentioned in HBP though.

Leanne is the character arguing with Katie Bell to return Draco/Rosmerta's cursed necklace back to Three Broomsticks.
It's a small part.

For some reason Laughland reminds me a bit of the Grudge I saw the seccond but not the first I do that a lot like I just say Indiana Jones the 3rd or 4th and havent seen the others
