Brand-new details on Pottermore were released today at a panel discussion at a Harry Potter fan convention in Florida. Amongst the new information were: that members who join will be given an option of usernames to choose from - they can not create their own; they will be given an alloted number of Galleons with which to purchase items, including a wand from Ollivander's (of which there are 33,000 wand combinations); the fact that fanfiction will not be allowed on the site; and how the design of the seven Harry Potter-book layout will be like. More information on that can be read below.  This project was started over 2 years ago and was created to give back to the readers of Harry Potter. It is the “Same story. With one addition. You.” POTTERMORE’s main initiative is to bring to life the most special moments of the series and give the reader a completely unique and new experience as they read in tandem with the site. Rowling has also written and is still writing thousands of words of new content in relation to the history of the characters, the world, and everything in between to be discovered as you read the books. Much of this new and scrumptious information is just bits that were left out of the books and have been sitting, gathering dust in Jo’s old HP notes.
It all starts with your registration. You fill out some information to begin, and the next page will tell you if you are indeed magical. It will then let you choose from 5 different usernames. They don’t allow you to make up your own username for child safety reasons. You then get sorted into your house by some dirty old hat. There is a large pool of questions that Rowling, herself, wrote, that will determine your house. Once you are sorted into either Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin, you will get a good page or two of brand new information about the history of your house.
Your homepage branches out into the seven books and includes décor befitting of your house. When you begin a book, it shows each chapter as a dot on that branch. While you are reading the book, there are interactive illustrations and animations that go along with the story. Each illustration was painstakingly designed directly from the books with every detail ever mentioned in them. They then had to be approved by Rowling and touched up until they were just how she had imagined them.
As you read, you “discover” new content. We got a sneak-peek at the history of Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia. The page that we saw explained how they were named, and also how they met and fell in love, etc. We also saw a bit of background on Professor McGonagall, which involved a somewhat tragic childhood and a Muggle…
Going through the books in this way, you can also turn on lights, collect items and objects, and you also have money. You have a virtual bank account in Gringotts. You need this money because you will need to buy all of your schoolbooks and supplies from Diagon Alley. You can buy your own pet to take to school, but the first thing to get is of course, your wand. In Ollivander’s, you will be chosen by one of a possible 33,000 different wand combinations, after all, “the wand chooses the wizard.”
You then arrive at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry. In your menu you will find your Favorites, Friends, Illustrations, Spells, Potions and Trunk. Your house commonroom is a sort of chat room, and also has your points for wizard dueling among a few other things. The Great Hall is nearly the same as the commonrooms, but it also includes all of the house points and updates from everyone.
There will be no fan-fiction on this site.
“It is not an encyclopedia, although much of the content is encyclopedic in nature.” It will be launched in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, with Japanese soon to come. It will begin a beta phase on July 31st to a lucky one million, and the official launch will be in October. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone will be the only book available in October, with Chamber of Secrets to come early 2012. Or do you have to have the book on your lap while playing? Or is it kind of a summary you get in the game and going along the way, passing different "levels"/chapters you can interect and unlock bonus content? There are still laods of opne questions to me :O | |

Есть такой способ: играть на красное/черное с определенной системой ставок. Этот способ тиражируется в инете, как «получение легких денег». Но есть и "обратная сторона медали", деньги оказываются не такими уж и легкими и большими.
Часть 1: «Как?»
Рассказываю, в чем суть: колесо рулетки поделено на 38 секторов – 18 красных, 18 черных и два особых – Зеро и Двойное зеро. Есть рулетки только с одним «зеро» или без «зеро» вообще, но суть это не сильно меняет. Выигрыш от ставки на черное/красное - двойная ставка.
Играем. Ставим 1$ на красное, крутится рулетка. Если выпадает красное – выиграли 2$, чистой прибыли – 1$. Если нет, ставим опять на красное, только удваиваем ставку. Да-да, удваиваем. Ставим 2$. Если выпадет красное, получим выигрыш – 4$, при этом потеряв в двух ставках только 3$, значит реально выиграли 1$. Если же опять будет черное или зеро, продолжаем ставить на красное, 4$ (удвоенная ставка). Выиграем – 8$, потерям в сумме 7$. Нет - продолжаем игру.
После того, как выиграли начинаем опять с 1$, только теперь ставим уже на черное. Где гарантия выигрыша? По теории вероятности черное либо красное выпадет в 50% случаев (с небольшой поправкой на зеро и двойное зеро). Значит если продолжать ставить удвоенную ставку на один цвет, то выиграешь. А удвоение ставки как раз и гарантирует то, что выигрыш будет больше суммы проигранных денег.
Там, где я читал про этот метод, сказано еще, что если в серии ставок выпадет зеро/двойное зеро, то нужно продолжать удваивать ставку, только ставить уже на другой цвет. Я считаю, что это не меняет сути метода. Из тех же источников известно, что в реальных казино такой метод не работает, т.к. вас быстро вычислят со всеми вытекающими... Но если играть в казино в инете, то риск быть наказанным минимальный. онлайн казино
Часть 2: Реальность.
Факт 1: сколько бы ставок не пришлось сделать, выигрываешь ровно столько, сколько было в первой ставке. Получается, что рискуешь проиграть сумму, во много раз превышающую приз выигрыша. Ниже – расчет рисков для ставки в 1$:

Факт 2: если очередную ставку не удвоить, то теряешь всю сумму риска, сколько бы не поставил в данный момент.
Факт 3: не смотря на то, что вероятность выигрыша – почти 50%, бывают серии до 12 вращений рулетки (спинов), когда выпадает другой цвет. А значит, чтобы продолжать удваивать ставки, нужна нехилая сумма денег. Не хватает денег – проигрываешь. А если хватает, возникает вопрос – зачем с такими деньгами пытаться выиграть у казино пару баксов?
Часть 3: Нужны доказательства.
Я на себе проверил, что метод действует. Играл в тренировочном режиме в одном казино. Баланс счета медленно поднимался. Казалось, что все сходится и на этом можно заработать. А потом я познал, как улетают за несколько секунд все деньги и.. начинает работать голова. Я проиграл не много, но быстро. В моем случае были две роковые серии по 6 спинов одного цвета, которые закончились на зеро. Причем подряд! Я поражался, какова вероятность таких событий. Ведь я же сам видел, как часто меняется цвет очередного выпавшего числа и все такое.. Думал даже, что в программе казино специальная защита от таких умников, как я.
Вообщем, я накатал программу. Симулятор игры а черное/красное. Программа N-е число раз «крутит рулетку» и выдает число. Выдает случайно, без специальных защит или типа того. Добавил возможность бросить борьбу, если ставки слишком высоки, и начать заново.
Я пытался с помощью нее найти верную стратегию игры. Именно в этой проге я видел, как выпадают подряд 12(!) чисел одного цвета. Это был «шок номер Раз».
«Шоком номер Два» был результат: в итоге игрок проигрывает. Всегда. Когда именно, зависит от сумм и ставок, но проиграться до нуля – это не избежно.
Нет верной стратегии, нет достаточно больших сумм на руках, или слишком маленьких начальных ставок. Максимальная сумма счета сильно варьируется, может уверено увеличиваться или ни разу не подняться выше стартовой. Конечно, можно вовремя остановиться и уйти с выигрышем. Но, когда остановиться, тоже нельзя угадать. К тому же, выиграв раз, вернешься опять, а значит игра продолжится и в итоге проиграешь все.

Как развивается игра, как растут ставки и прибавляется выигрыш. Можно попытаться найти стратегию игры, или увидеть, как проиграть все (поставьте большое количество спинов, например 200 и больше). Вообщем все там.
