Michael Cera reportedly turns down 'Fantastic Beasts' Jacob role for LEGO Batman film
Actor Michael Cera, who was rumoured as one of many actors to take on the role of Jacob (which eventually went to Dan Fogler) in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, apparently turned down the role for a new LEGO movie, reported The Wrap on Thursday.
Cera reportedly shut down the chance to play Muggle Jacob in order to voice superhero Robin in the upcoming LEGO Batman animated movie, a spinoff of Warner Bros.' hit The LEGO Movie.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, has its first installment released in November 2016.
