List of Deleted Scenes on the GOF DVD

A list of deleted scenes from 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' which are to appear on the upcoming DVD have been posted on HarryLatino. The site received this information from someone who worked on the movie, however, we must view this as an unofficial list until we get confirmation from Warner Brothers. There are eight scenes in all:

SCENE 1: Dumbledore asks his pupils to welcome Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students. All the Hogwarts students then start to sing the school song.

Quote:

SCENE 2: A Durmstrang student asks a girl to go with him to the Yule Ball. She says yes, and two of their friends make gesture in the background.

SCENE 3: Harry tries to speak with Cho Chang, but as she is constantly surrounded by friends, he doesn't get the opportunity.

Quote:

SCENE 4: Flitwick introduces the Weird Sisters at the Yule Ball. The lead singer speaks with the audience and then starts the first song.

SCENE 5: Karkaroff tells Snape about the mark of his arm. Snape ignores him and removes house points from Fawcet and Stebbins, who briefly appear in the scene. Snape doesn't care about what Karkaroff has to say.

SCENE 6: Mr. Crouch and Harry are speaking. Mad-Eye appears and Barty quickly leaves.

SCENE 7: The trio speak about the death of Mr. Crouch. Ron thinks that Fudge will prevent the story from leaking out to the public. Hermione believes his death, Harry's scar burning and the Dark Mark at the Quidditch World Cup aren't coincidences. She recommends Harry goes to visit Dumbledore.

SCENE 8: The trio speak about what Karkarof was showing Snape on his arm. Hermione asks Harry which potion ingredients Snape accused him of stealing and realises they are the ingredients needed for the Polyjuice Potion.

I think the scene where the trio discussed Crouch's death should have been in, it accounts for much of the confusion some have designated as to the fate of Crouch's character in the movie.

What? No Molly Weasley in the deleted scenes???? That's not really fair is it....ah well, we have to be thankfull for what they are going to put on the dvd!....

No R/Hr moments? UGH! Funny since GoF was the book that it actually began in but...whatever. Grr...anyway, sounds like good scenes. I knew there would be more than in the movie since there were so many pictures. Good to know. Thanks Lissy!

Julie Walters never filmed any scenes for GoF.

Nice list, thanks for posting it :) I knew about the Karkaroff/Snape scenes because I've seen pictures of it and then they were never in the actual movie.

I think it would be really cool if they included an option with this movie to watch the movie with deleted scenes intact (like when they air HP on ABCFamily or something, they show it that way). None of the DVDs have done that, and I like when they add it in to it's right place in the film.

Sweet. I really want to see them sing the school song--it should be fun, since it's in the first book but they haven't sung it.

eh those scenes don't seem too important; if I was the director I would cut them out too, since they aren't necessary.
