Katherine Waterston reveals she was told of 4 'Fantastic Beasts' movies originally While promoting this month's release on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Katherine Waterston revealed that prior to the five-film announcement made by J.K. Rowling in October, she and apparently the rest of the cast expected the series to run over four films. This would have promised an extra movie than what Warner Bros. told fans years ago, when CEO Kevin Tsujihara said Fantastic Beasts would be at least a trilogy. Waterston, who plays American Auror Tina Goldstein in the saga, commented on the new production details in a recent interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in New York. Quote:
