I bought the book yesterday at borders (dang that thing was expensive). I havn't read it yet but I'm aware of the basic plot line and it seems interesting, im guessing you have to know your history facts though.

It sounds interesting enough, definitely something to check out of the library.

Never read it, but I heard about it on the news...they say the antagonist in the book makes Lord Voldemort look like a fluffy little 'muppet'...LOL...must be a really darl novel if they compare You-Know-Who to a muppet! :)

Sounds like a great book. I love history, magic and wizards so I'll try and find it at our local bookstore. Not that I expect they sell it around here. Hardly any fantasy books are sold here. Only HP and a few others. I guess I'll also check out amazon. hehe

I've been waiting to get my hands on a copy since it appeared in the papers two weeks back.....

So I dont' think she tryign to mooch JK's success. She infact was quoted saying that she promised not to read the Potter series until she finishes writing her own book......
