Johnny Depp reportedly cast in 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' film series
 

Oscar-nominated actor Johnny Depp has reportedly been cast in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series.

While the character he plays has not been revealed, Depp shot something for the first installment, out this November 18th, and will begin filming the sequel to the movie next year. Going by the comments released by the source so far, it may be safe to assume that he will portray Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald.

also Hypable is confirming that Depp is playing Grindelwald too. if you look at the screencap on their site and our image of Depp above, its the same haircut and ear shape.

The greatest character actor of all times, and one of my favorite people on earth joining the films makes me giddy like you wouldn't believe.

I wouldn't care if he was playing a beast for goodness sake! IT'S MY DAMIEN :whaa: I knew he had Wizard potential before JK did :lmao:
