Jessica Stevenson to do voice work for OotP Jessica Stevenson (Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Shaun of the Dead), who was previously announced as having been cast as Mafalda Hopkirk in 'Order of the Phoenix', said on the Charlotte Church Show tonight, that her contribution to the film involves only her voice. Thanks to ezzer123 for the tip! |
:woot: FIRST TO POST!!!!! ha sounds good, even though it's just her voice........interesting........ :woot: |
Just her voice hmm? They better not do that with Bill.. I want to see him!! Too bad it's just her voice. It would've been nice to see Mafalda... Never get what you want some times... *sigh* |
^ i totally agree, i really want to see bill! well at least she gets to be apart of the whole project:yes:, but just her voice?:hmm: |
The voice? Whose voice? hMMMM... |
Sounds Cool. Man even just voice work on an HP film would be awesome! ^_^ |
Cool! I wonder who she'll voice?? |
Good! I'm glad they got that part right! she IS NOT supposed to be in the film in person, that would REALLY mess things up. |

*singing* Blue ... oh so lonesome for you, tears fill my eyes till I pass you ... Quote:
T: Egads, *smacks* O: Sorry, wot? I mean who is she? I swear I don't watch any movies LOL unless they were filmed before 2000 or they feature Rupert. *shrugs* Sorry ... Shaun of the Dead ... what is that like a romantic comedy? Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason ... sounds like a thriller ... but I digress ... T: Intentionally. O: But not often enough ... |
Cool. At least she gets to be apart of the magical Harry Potter films. even though it's just one. |
I'm going to guess this means that she's going to be the voice of Harry's letters from the Ministry. Still even if it is just her voice I'm glad their going to have all those owls in it. Maybe we can hear all the other owls too. |
yeah that's right i agree to you! ^ she's going to be the voice on Harry's posts from the ministry! God i love that scene!! ;) |
Just her voice? for what? |
Ok, who is this person who is going to play the voice of Mefalda, I don't think I've heard of her. I also agree, I really really want to see Bill in the next movie. PLEASE LET BILL BE IN THE NEXT MOVIE!!!! |
Just her voice... That could be interesting. Is she playing still the voice of Mafalda Hopkins? |
i d0n't know who's voice she's doing. |
Oh Cool!!! :woot: |
Hmm...very interesting! :) |
Interesting... lol |
I was thinking she might voice a howler to Harry? |
I hardly even know who Mafalda is but that's great for her :) |
interesting.... who are they having for her then if it's only her voice? oh ya... the owls.... lol i forgot all about those. haha must be |

Oh,it's so interesting.I like it. |
well thats some news! |
cool. sounds great. :) |
Really good!! |
so will she be mafalda's voice or ohh i wonder Sirius's mother? no ok |
According to how the book goes we should only hear her voice, or at the very least, see her handwriting on the letter. I didn't know that we were going to hear the letters as they weren't howlers. But perhpas Harry hears the voice as he reads? |

That's cool. |
Interesting... hmm... |
I thought she might do Sirius' mum voice and thanks for ezzer123 for the info! |
interesting...Can't wait till the movie! |
cool! |
Sounds interesting. But what's the voice? |
Wahoooo! Cool! Its obvious how the voiceover is going to play in the movie tho, its obviously when Harry gets the letter and when he reads through it mafalda hopkirks voice reads it aloud like in philosophers stone trailer when i think its mcgonagall or dumbledores voice reading the school letter out. |
Sounds cool, even if it is just her voice... |
cool yeah |
thats cool. at least we know the owl scene will be their. and i agree a voice part would be great to do on the HP moives just to live the experince of it would be great:) can't wiat for the moive |
I saw that (it was me who told ezzer123 to send the news in), yeah I bet it'll be a howler too. |

cool. |
Sounds interesting |
well at least she is in the film x'D |
Inter-esting ... But just being a part of the Harry Potter Films would be awesome, even if it's just your voice. ^_^ |
i hope it can public soon. |
colie. |
It would still be cool to have your voice on HP!!! |
cool at least she's taken part in the films, which is more than most of us will. |
Yeh, i saw that, i was really confused...whos voice? maybe she plays the voice for the woman that asks you the questions when you go to the misistry? |
Mafalda Hopkirk's, presumably. |
hmmmmmm |
CoooL! Thanhks! |
who is she???? |
Since she's Mafalda Hopkirk, the one who questions Harry at his hearing (right???), maybe they just won't show her, and will just use her voice. I dunno. Kind of like The Voice From Nowhere type of thingy....or whatever. |
Well thats cool! |
that sounds intersting. |
Oh, I remember her from Shaun of the Dead, god that was a halarious comedy/horror... Wonder who'll she'll voice? |
coool |
wow, i wonder what her part will be then... |
The contribution of just a voice still makes her part of the saga. |
Only her voice? Mmm...sounds interesting. |
wonder why its just her voice |
intresting |
Only voice? Rawr. Sounds exciting. Can't wait to hear it! |
Well, at least she is still in the movie. |
who will she voice? |
Yeah, that would make sense cuz u don't actually c her character until the hearing |
I don't really know who she is.... I spose her voice is needed for when Harry reads the letter her voice will come as the information in the letter. |
Cool, it would be awsome to be in HP, even if it was just your voice!! |
Cool even if it is just her voice!! |
I think he is good.. |
I remember seeing her in Shaun of the Dead...wonder who'll she'll voice? |
Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
