J.K. Rowling's Secret Street View
 

Following the completion of the seven Harry Potter books and eight films, J.K. Rowling has something new to announce. Even though this is not a new book, we have been informed it is something equally exciting.

As a teaser before the official announcement, ten letters have been hidden on the website below for you to find. To locate them you need to find ten sets of coordinates, enter them into the search box one set at a time, and take a look around.

This is the eighth coordinate: 51.781383,-2.56844

The rest will be revealed among nine other Harry Potter fan sites at intervals throughout the 15th and 16th of June 2011. Find the coordinates, enter them on the site below and you could be one of the first to piece the word together.

(Please note - These letters are magic, therefore do not exist in the real world…)

When I was at Wizarding World in March and I went for Brekkie, I accosted the fellow that was walking us through the park and picked his brain for as much info as possible. He told me that on the anniversary of the park opening, there was going to be a big to-do, especially because it is in the contract with Jo that once DH Pt2 has been released, they must add something else DH related *to* the park!

So my previous Post was deleted, It's ok though I was only trying to help people find the coordinates... There are theories that is (highlight with your mouse to see possible spoilers) pottermore or morepotter.. If she does another book or movie I think that the Story of the Original Order of the Phoenix or Voldemort's rise to power would be appropriate so that we may understand the background of the Wizarding World.

So i think it's either MORE POTTER or it could be POTTER LORE, like a book of all things from the wizarding world, like an encyclopedia cause I thought that was in the talks. either way I guess it results in there being more potter! yay!!!

If I did hit the nail on the head, Saturday I would wager is the longest we shall have to wait until. Seems a little mean though for them to give us 9 words and leave us without number 10...but then I suppose it's 5pm-ish in the USA...still plenty of day to go!

It would have the best effect if it was strung out a bit, I think. And I say that as somebody who knows nothing. But there's a crazy voice in the back of my head that says, "IF YOU SLEEP, YOU MIGHT MISS IT." Because obviously finding out after whatever it is, is announced, is clearly not good enough for my irrational brain. Still hooked on Potter, apparently XD

If that's the case, I would be very happy. The other explanation of Pottermore was quite an anticlimax (to me, at least), so fingers crossed for this one!

I agree. Some people were saying it was a social networking site. I was so disappointed. But this encyclopedia is a lot better! I really hope it's true.

AAAH. I really hope it's the encyclopoedia. And that's technically not a new book, because we've known about it for ages. And it fits in with the world-wide clues (encyclopoedias cover the worldwide magic!).
