J.K. Rowling to appear in New York court for trial against Lexicon
 

J.K. Rowling is reported to appear in New York next month in hers and Warner Bros.'s case against RDR Books, which is trying to publish a comprehensive Harry Potter encyclopedia written by the publishers of the Harry Potter Lexicon.

It has also been announced that the case will be decided by a judge rather than a jury.

I can't believe this is still going on, soon it will be over. It be 1 in a million chance for Lexicon to actually win this.

i acctually think that lexicon will win this because Lexicon would have started at some point last year to even get anywere near finishing it because ive seen it and it isnt really that good but Lexicon would have started it even before jo announced that she was making one

the leaky cauldron have publicaly distanced themself from the lexicon owner. Jo is in the right here this is her work and I hope the judge agrees with here, mr vanderark is compleatly wrong.

No it isn't; the date was re-arranged once because she wouldn't be available (she was in court over that picture of her son).

I doubt she'll be in the mood, to be honest with you. This whole facade has to be totally depressing.
